Thank you for this! I read it all in one sitting, sometimes holding my breath.
It was most excellent!

It's the one thing everyone must do. You can't avoid it, you can't bargain with it, you just do it. It hurts sometimes, hell, it hurts most of the time, but it's also the most natural thing in the world. One of those rare things that makes us human.
This story is included in the Epilogues story arc, however it is a side story that can be read at just about any time. it is most favorable, however, to wait until reading Epilogues Part I for certain thematic reasons.
For Pete's sake! I am crying my eyes out here!
Let me just say, that this is very well written, you really have a good grasp of expressing emotions.
Author's Response: Thank you so much. You know, people admitting they cried through this story really is pretty much the end all highest praise, again, I appreciate it very much and am truly sorry it has taken so long to respond to your review!
Summary: The war is over, and Voldemort is dead, but the aftermath isn't what Harry had intended it to be. Amid feelings he himself cannot explain, he flees to Muggle London. Can he overcome his inner demons and lead something other than the shadow of a life his existence has become?
Actually the third story in the Epilogues story arc. If you have yet to do so, please read Right Here and One Good Day prior to reading this. Upon completion of this story, you can move on to Epilogues Part II.
Once again you did very well!
Loved the wedding part, how ever did you get the idea for Ron and Hermione's robes?
Author's Response: First, thank you so much. Second, wow, that was so long ago, I\'m not exactly sure how I came across that idea. I know it was internal, that I was the one that came up with it.... Ah, I think I remember. I was thinking in my head how Hermione would look, okay? And I had all these things going on in my head, and I don\'t remember if I used it in the story or not, I think I did, but I remember distinctly wanting the imagery to be such that she looked like something that walked right out of a fairy tale. That\'s where the vines came from, anyway. Eventually I kinda got this notion in my head that she would look like some woodland elf princess or something, so her dress would have to have this kind of organic vinelike design running all throughout, and there was something about the visual of that pattern running on her dress but also on her bare skin that struck me as being so very classically wedding, while at the same time showing the nature of the magic that is about them. From there, I had Ron\'s robe\'s match for continuity, and then I remembered I was dealing with a magical world, and so I kept on with the vine idea until... voila... we have their robes as we see them in the scene. Again, thank you so much, and terribly sorry for how long it took to get back to you!
Summary: *Nominated for 2006 Annual Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Original Character in reference to Rathius Ratbone*
It is Ginny's last year at Hogwarts, and the lessons she will learn are not restricted to books and classes. As she struggles to hold onto that which she holds most dear, the youngest Weasley will come to learn much about love, friendship, and herself.
This is the fifth story in the Epilogues story arc. If this is the first of my stories you have sat down to read, please read Right Here, One Good Day, and Epilogues Part I prior to reading this fic.
Since I am a HP fanfic addict, I have read a lot, and I mean A LOT of stories in here, but you seem to stand out somehow. It is of course your most brilliant way of putting emotion in every sentence, making the reader really feel the characters, but I also think that your never ending comments for us, allows us to fully understand, if not you personally, then your work process. This makes your work unique, for me at least.
So thank you for giving so much of your self.
Author's Response: Again, thank you so much, I\'m sorry I missed you as you were reading, I usually love catching people as their reading and leaving reviews, but I\'ve been kind of out of it. I am also greatly honored at your praise. Emotion, and as you will see in Part III, imagery and action, are all very important, but you kow, I think you\'re right. I tend to be very open with the process because the readers have in turn been very helpful to me from the beginning. As a result, what I think we have here, between author and reader, is a relationship that goes beyond normal. It\'s like we have a conversation, then you sit down for the story, and we do it again, and it really makes things so much more personal. Maybe this is part of the reason why Rod Serling and Alfred Hitchcock would preceed their shows with little personal introductions; to engender that personal relationship. anyway, thank you so much, and hope to see you plenty for the last part!
Summary: Whoever knew that a couple still went on "dates" after they were married?
Runner-Up in the Best Canon Romance category of the 2007 Quicksilver Quill Awards
For those interested, I'm planning on writing a Prequel to this story. Just thought I'd let everyone know.
This is a most lovely and sad story! It makes me cry every time I read it.
You did good!
Summary: Sixteen years after the conclusion of the second part of the Epilogues trilogy, the wizarding world finds itself again at the mercy of a new menace. Can England's top Aurors vanquish this new foe before time runs out?
UPDATE: With cool new links to supplemental material!
Oh yes you did! Rasmussen is mentioned in the very last chapter of part 2, when Ginny and Ratbone say their goodbyes....
Rasmussen polling? as in the danish Prime Minister?
Author's Response: Oh... I did, didn\'t I? I forgot about that. Wow, good catch. And no, not in the Danish Prime Minister. Rasmussen polling is, I believe, an American polling firm, and one of the leaders like Gallup and Zogby. Just another company that periodically puts out all those percentages that political junkies like me like to stare at. You have a Merry Christmas too, and with any luck, the next chapter will be up before then!
Why the name Rasmussen? Where I come from it is a very common surname...
I thought about it when reading part 2 as well, but I forgot to ask then...
Author's Response: Part II? I didn\'t introduce Ras until part III. Anyway. I just kinda picked it. Though, subconsciously, it may have had something to do with RAsmussen polling, given my political background and all. Thanks for the review!
Summary: Harry is steadfast in his decision to break up with Ginny Weasley, hoping that she will be kept safe from Voldemort's clutches, but unforeseen circumstances will push them back together sooner than anyone could have anticipated. Harry finally acknowledges his true feelings for her before setting out on the hunt for the Horcruxes, but unfortunately the subsequent war with Tom Riddle and his followers would end up lasting longer than anyone could’ve expected. Can Harry and Ginny’s love stand the test of time? And how far will Harry go to make sure they are given the chance to find that out?
Now that is anger!! I wonder if he will ever feel like himself again....
You write with such detail, that every emotion is very clear to the reader, and it leaves us hungry for more! God, it's exciting!
Author's Response: Good, I pulled it off then, anger was a key here. And no, Harry will never be the same, but then, no one who kills or hurts people ever is. I\'m glad I could pull off the emotion well enough to be translated correctly. Thanks for the review and see you next chapter!
Summary: Ever wonder how Ron and Hermione really got together? How constant fighting seemed to lead to a romance? What happens when a letter to a certain Durmstrang student sends a certain Gryffindor over the edge? Join Ron and Hermione on the night they came together, and the pumpkin pasties that seem to get in the way. All told from Colin Creevey’s point of view, of course!
I do love it when they fight!
You did good! :-)
Author's Response: Aww, thanks m\'dear! =]
Summary: Harry and Ginny realize they have time.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Summary: "My thoughts settled for a while as I set my sight on the vast water. Its overwhelming nature made me feel small, a feeling I wasn’t fond of and usually tried to suppress. "
Ginny slips away to reflect.
Very good! Sometimes less really is more :-)
Summary: A story following mainly Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione that is set between the final chapter and the epilogue of Deathly Hallows. For those people who, like me, just wanted the story to continue!!
**major DH spoilers!
looks very promising! :-)
Summary: Hermione's point of view throughout Deathly Hallows. It's mainly about what she's feeling at certain parts of the book. I tried my best to make everything allign to Deathly Hallows at some point. Obviously, there are spoilers. Enjoy!
Right on the spot! You did good! :-)
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
