Best line ever.
Author's Response: Same to you! :-)
Hmmm. It's been a while since I've read this story so I went back and read the previous chapter. You're making Ron look awfully guilty for attacking Simon but the timeline seems... compressed.
How was Ron able to leave the Library and track down Simon in what comes across as a very limited amount of time? Ron didn't have the Mauraders Map.
We know Simon is skilled with the mental magic mojo, is Ron's expression of regret justified?
Author's Response: I\'m not going to comment on it now, but you will get an answer to that. Thanks for your thoughts!
For the love of all that is good and pure post the final chapter!!!
I just wanted to say that your post Final Battle storyline for Ron was the most interesting I've read for the character. I really liked Ron in France, fighting and growing on his own.
And I have to admit, as R/Hr is the only ship I really care about, I'm glad to see the two of them working things out.
Enjoying the story. When do we get to see more?
No need to re-write, you're doing just fine without DH! And I love Hermione as a Curse Breaker, it's the perfect blend of her intelligence and the adventurist streak she would have picked up along the way while being friends with Ron and Harry.
Author's Response: I\'m sorry, I\'m sorry, don\'t worry the main story isn\'t changing. Hermione is still a curse breaker and my original plot isn\'t changing. All I\'m doing is adding a few of the pieces of DH that I loved and that I think will make this story just a little better. I\'m almost done and I have nearly 8 chapters written so when we get going again things should move fairly quickly. Thank you so much for reviewing, I really appreciate it!
Please post more chapters! The place is getting over run with Hermione/Snape stories and that is just all kinds of wrong.
Author's Response: I have been neglecting this site haven\'t I? Alright, your wish is my command. I\'ll put the next chapter up soon. Thanks for reviewing.
Are the mods giving you a hard time over posting a chapter you had up before?
Author's Response: Yes, they are. I don\'t know about this place. If you want to read anymore than I have posted you can always read it over on Phoenixsong.net. I know we\'re not supposed to plug other sites here but until I get it posted here that is where it is. Thanks for reading. I\'m still trying to get it posted here so if you want to wait it should be up in, oh I don\'t know, a month or so.
Welcome back. When last we spoke, you said you had 8 chapters ready to go. I'm looking forward to each one.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I\'m working on chapter 10 now and the next chapter is ready to go. It shouldn\'t be too long now.
The third installment in my “Battles” series continues here in a fluffier-than-is-normal-for-this-author tale depicting the Jitters Ron and Hermione experience when popping the big question and the events leading up to it.
If you have just found this story, be sure to read “Internal Battles” and “Battling Boundaries”. This story stands alone, but the other two will help complete the back-story. You should enjoy them too! Let me know what you think!
Disclaimer: JKR started it…I am just playing with the fabulous characters!
You have correctly guessed the origin of my screen name. ;)
Author's Response: Well that is absolutley hilarious! Congrats on the creativity! My daughters bedroom is decorated in vintage toys and many of old stuffed animals including a Monchichi! It is a baby one! That is so cool. Sorry to ramble on it! but that is so funny!
I've enjoyed all 3 of your stories. Tell me, who do we need to bribe to get the next chapter validated?
Author's Response: thanks for reading! I have reposted, so we will be patient atleast one more time!
Suggest a felony and chapters get posted. Must file this info for future use.
I enjoyed the chapter, by the way.
Author's Response: i will...thanks,
Welcome back! I was wondering what was holding up this story... a 3rd child is a valid excuse. I won't even ask you to produce a doctor's note or anything.
Author's Response: well thanks for undersdanding! I am glad that you enjoy the story!
Am I a boy?
Only at heart.
I'm a happily married MAN and yes, proposing was one of the easiest (and best) things I've ever done.
Author's Response: well then you are lucky guy. I too am happily married, and while I know that proposing marriage was one of the best things that my husband ever did, because I asked him, I know it was not easy! Nerves, Jitters and asking my father all made it harder. On a side note, I just noticed your screen name...Monchichi. Is that what I think it is? I was born in 1981, so I missed the cartoon, but I still have one....Please let me know if that is what you are referring to or if I missed the boat completley!
OK, bribery hasn't worked. Who do we need to blackmail to get Ch. 6 up?
Author's Response: it is up now! REad READ READ!!!
Proposing is supposed to be easy, why oh why must you toture Ron so?!
Oh yeah, it makes for a better story.
Author's Response: aer you a boy? I hope not because if you think proposing is easy, think again!!! My husband had a horrible time. It should be easy, but it is such a HUGE thing that no one in their right mind could call it easy.....and yes, I did it for the drama!
Probably my favorite story on the site.
Author's Response: Wow really? That\'s awesome, thanks!
Thanks for the laugh.
I love the famous last words bit at the end! Yeah, we all know what really happens (cause we read the book) but a guy should know better than to ask that question. You can always screw up something involving a girl you care about worse than you could ever imagine!
I guess this was the life lesson that taught Ron that simple truth.
Author's Response: haha, yes. =] I enjoy being ironic.
Thank you for the heads up but... how do I say this?
I have a pretty good idea where you're going thanks to my being married and all.
Author's Response: No prob. Knowlage is power!
