Summary: Well... it's high time that I did something so completely insane that the wizards in white robes dragged me off to the closed ward in St. Mungo's.
So, I spoofed the entire album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by the Beatles, to be performed by your favourite Dark Lord and choice Death Eaters in the style of a rock opera. Eat your lonely hearts out!
I don't recommend this fic to those who are not at all familiar with the Beatles.
I am a huge Beatles fan, as well as a huge Harry Potter fan, and this is absolutely fantastic. Sgt. Pepper is a classic but this--this is amazing! I love the play on Lovely Rita and When I'm Sixty-Four (love the Lucius/Narcissa romance thing, genius!) It was so much fun. You're really talented!
I wonder if Sir Paul is a Potter fan...he would probably appreciate this. :)
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much for your lovely review! You know, I wonder, too... if Paul liked Potter, that would be awesome!
Summary: Long after a war ends the wounds remain. When forced to face something so horrific a part of a person’s very soul dies. People are left changed. Societies are left in shambles
During this time, people are prone to making bad choices. Horrible things are said and done because the bitter continue to fight. How can such a monstrous event ever truly be over? And how can those left behind truly regain their lives
I love this story. I just sat down and read the entire thing, straight through, and I am so fascinated. Even though I pretty much hate Bellatrix, she was always my favorite "villian-type". I love your take on her, that there is goodness deep down there somewhere. So great, I can't wait for an update!
Author's Response: Thanks so much. Your review really means a lot. Thanks again! :D
Summary: Everything is going swimmingly in the lives of Sirius Black and Hermione Granger. But that doesn't make a very good story, does it?
Everything is going swimmingly UNTIL the Ministry (infiltrated by several former Death Eaters) passes a horrifying new law that threatens their relationship. How will they cope with this new situation? And will Ron ever learn to say the right thing at the right time?
The much-begged-for sequel to "Smells Like Sirius Black".
This is the first story I've read in a long while that has made me actually laugh out loud at my computer screen. (Must stop this before I go back to school, my roommate will think me a bit barmy.)
Sirius is my favorite, and Remus is a close second, and I love your portrayal of both of them. This story and its prequel are both so much fun and so well written and so well thought out that it's impossible not to enjoy them. Thank you so much for writing!
Summary: While Harry if off hunting horcruxes, Neville and the rest of his friends and classmates are not sitting idly by.
This is bloody brilliant. No, really. That was one of the things I wished had been in DH--a better description of what the DA had been up to. I am so excited to read the rest of this story, not only because of the subject matter but because your writing style is very clear and intelligent. Congrats on being brilliant!
I'm sorry, am I gushing? I just love Neville being so very badass.
Summary: James Potter has just informed his fellow Marauders that Lily Evans finally agreed to go out with him. His best friend Sirius Black is feeling rather evil and naughty and cooks up a scheme to follow James and Lily under the invisibility cloak on their first date for pure Marauder fun. He convinces Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew to join him. But things don't go as planned and much chaos and unexpected events unfold...
The title was inspired by Fall Out Boy's album title, From Under the Cork Tree.
Love, love, love your depiction of Sirius. He's such a charming, charismatic pain in the ass. And poor Remus, fighting a valiant but losing battle. I really enjoyed it--but I'm feeling preemptively sorry for Lily and James. Can't wait to see what happens!
Author's Response: Haha, I know Sirius can be quite annoying at times, but everyone loves him! And yes, it is very unfortunate that Lily and James\' first date will be ruined. I really, really appreciate your review, thank you!
Summary: Before Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts, he is shown a group photo of the original Order of the Phoenix, back when it was his parents fighting against Voldemort.
But a photo doesn’t show their lives, their personalities, their every day conversations ... or how much organising can be needed to take one single photograph when you have a room full of people – especially when four of whom liked to call themselves “Marauders” back in their school days ...
Aw! I see what you mean about it being sad, but it's still kind of heartwarming at the same time.
Anyway, I love this, it's really adorable and sweet. It's a really great idea, just a one-shot behind a photograph, but it really does show how much can be learned from a simple moment captured in time. Like I said, fantastic idea, and original too!
Oh, and I laughted at the bit at the end with James and Sirius. Gotta love those Marauders!
Author's Response: Oh, I do! =D *Hugs Marauders* I\'m really glad you enjoyed it! Yay! I can\'t believe what a great reaction this fic has been getting ...
Summary: Mai loves Fred, and Fred loves Mai. They've been dating since their fifth year at Hogwarts, and Mai's been living and working with Fred and George at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes since she graduated. So what happens to Mai (and George), leading up to, during, and after the battle at Hogwarts? And with the surprises that are in store for everyone along the way, life's going to be anything but easy.
Chapter 15 is up! Huzzah!
This looks really promising! I really liked your writing style, and I'm already taking a liking to Mai as a character. I'm so excited--there aren't a lot of good Weasley twin fics out there, or at least I haven't found many. I'll be watching for an update!
Author's Response: Thanks! It\'s sad that here are so few Weasley twin fics, so after reading DH, I just had to write one. I\'ll try to get chapter one done ASAP. I\'m a really busy bee right now. ;)
