Summary: What caused Lily to loathe James and James to loathe Lily? How did they come to fall in love? What bumps and bruises did they acquire along the way? From hexing to comforting, this is the way it all started. Endure dangers and hardships, perplexity and mind games, and matters of the heart.
I've just finished your fic yesterday, and I have to say I loved it! You wrote this before DH, right? Yet you had Snape fancy Lily which actually was true. Anyway, great job!
Summary: Three meetings, two people, one place. The girl and the boy, together and apart. Nothing lasts forever, but at least she remembers when it felt like eternity, when the days were soft, the nights of dark and their love, forever [Lily/James AU]
Nominee for Best Alternate Universe in the Quicksilver Quills!
This was sad yet beautiful. I usually don't read AU, but I loved this one! It made me sad for a while after I read this even though I know what really happened in canon.
Summary: Voldemort's rising reign of terror, NEWTs, death attempts, a Headship, a tangled affair with James Potter, hilarity, grief, love, secrecy, maddness... it's almost hard to believe that I've survived to graduate. I am Lily Evans, and this is my 7th year.
I just recently read this. I have to say, this is a really good fanfic. Most L/J ones I read don't mention Voldemort at ALL, which is weird since in PS/SS Dumbledore implied that Voldemort has been wreaking havoc for eleven years. It's nice to read one that finally puts emphasis on the war!
Plus, your writing is amazing. You describe things so beautifully. . . . Great job and post more soon!
Summary: 2009 QSQ Awards Winner for Best Chaptered Canon Romance
Before the chosen one was ever born, his parents had to meet, fall in love, and defy Voldemort three times. Easier said than done. Things were never easy for Harry Potter's parents, but it gets a whole lot harder when Death Eaters kidnap Lily. This is the story of Lily and James, the trials they face, and how James finally wins Lily's heart. (pre-Deathly Hallows)
“I’ll always protect you.”
It wasn't boring at all. I actually thought it was really interesting! It was nice to see the world through Emma's eyes.
Great job - you're a great writer!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you thought so; thanks very much for the review!
I loved this chapter! Great job on showing the way Lily reacted and how James comforted her, I loved it. The cliffhanger at the end makes me even more eager to read the next chapter!
One, problem though: in your Author's Note, you said there's a few chapters left. It's ending soon?! As you can tell, that makes me sad.
Author's Response: Thanks, I\'m glad you liked it! Hopefully I\'ll be able to get the next chapter up before too long. There are more than a few, but I\'d say it\'s certainly past the half way mark.
I read the whole story today for the first time. FIrst, I have to say this: I LOVE IT. Lily and Emmeline being kidnapped (though sad) is very creative.
But when I realized there was no chapter after this posted, I nearly screamed. Post the next chapter soon! :(
Author's Response: I hate it when I get into a story and I\'m reading chapter after chapter and suddenly -- there\'s no more! I know your pain, and I\'ll try and help out and update soon! Thanks for the review, I\'m glad you like the kidnapping idea.
Great chapter! I found everyone's threats to James about castrating him hilarious.
By the way, I loved the nightmare. It's so haunting and mysterious ... who is that girl and why does James have dreams about her?
Anyway, great chapter! Hope to see another post soon. :)
Author's Response: Thanks, I\'m glad you liked it! I hadn\'t meant to carry on the threats to James past when Emma said it, but I couldn\'t help myself ;)
Summary: Lily starts out her seventh year with a boyfriend, a Head Girl badge, and two wonderful friends. Yet, as the year progresses, she is thrown into a game - a game of love. It is not Lily’s preferred game, considering it has no rules. There are simply many different obstacles down the path, including jealousy, denial, trepidation, desire, confusion, wonder, pain… but, if Lily manages to win the game, she is rewarded with the best gift anyone can ask for: the truest of true love.

Great story! I usually go through LJ fics and get easily irritated, but your ff made me laugh a lot - great story!
Just wondering, have you read Deathly Hallows? If so, are you going to add some of the information we learned in there and add it to the story?
Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m really pleased that you enjoy it! As for your question about Deathly Hallows: yes, I have read it - and cried a few times as well - and I\'m still debating over whether or not to add it to my story. One day I\'m of the opinion that I should - the next I\'ve decided it wouldn\'t do well with the plot I had planned before the book came out. So... to put it quite lamely... I haven\'t the slightest idea. lol. Thanks for reviewing!
Summary: This is the story of a boy and a girl. And a boy. This is the story of love returned and unreturned, of friendship gone dry, and of the things people will do for love. This is the story of James Potter and Lily Evans and Severus Snape. *two-shot*
I am a fan of your other fanfiction, Someone To Watch Over me.So when I found out you wrote this, I decided to read it, thinking it would be good just like your other ff.
I wasn't wrong in my assumption! Seriously, this was amazing. I loved how you portrayed Lily and James's relationship. And also the confusion Snape felt ... it was great!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked it as much as Someone To Watch Over Me! Thanks for the review.
Summary: James Potter is about to give up his pursuit of his six-year crush, Lily Evans. But will he change his mind after an enlightening conversation with an understanding taxicab driver? One-shot, R&R!!
“Have you ever fallen in love?” James asked hesitantly.
“Have you ever loved her with all your heart and soul?”
“Have they never requited your love?”
“Have you ever thought of giving them up?”
“Yep. Did it too. Was without a doubt the worse mistake I’ve made in me bloody life.”
Once I finished reading that, I couldn't stop giggling.
Summary: James Potter is determined to make his last year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry unforgettable, one for the history books, but the war with Voldemort weighs heavily on his mind. As he works to help bring about an end to the scourge that has plagued the wizarding world for many years Lily Evans starts to see him for the man he has become instead of the boy he used to be.
Poor James! :(
Post chapter two soon!
Author's Response: Yeah, my heart goes out to James, I wish he\'d give up on Lily and go for me instead, but alas then I\'d have nothing to write about ;)
