All is not well.
George uses work and Firewhisky to cope with Fred's death until a drink with a friend leads to something that dulls pain better than alcohol. Emotionally torn by grief, he struggles to allow Alicia into his life...and then comes baby....

I already read this lovely chapter at checkmatd/fanfic.. as you know.. I just thought you'd like to know I actually got the email alert for once!
I hear the Hallelujah chorus!
Ahhhhh!! Loved it!!!!!
Author's Response: Merci beaucoup! :)
Summary: The Boy Who Lived vanquished the Dark Lord and put an end to the Second War. From now on, he is determined to lead a peaceful life amongst his friends and rekindle the relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Ginny Weasley. However, there are still Voldemort's followers on the loose and the wizarding community seeks Harry's guidance and advice. It is time for the Chosen One to make important choices and find his place in the world.
This is really good. I hope you keep writing it and update soon because I think this will be tagged as a lot of people's favorites.
Summary: George Weasley was lonely. It was an odd feeling, because George was never alone. He shared an apartment with his twin, but as of late even his relationship with Fred had been strained. Crediting his sudden change in behavior to a "mid-life crisis several decades too early," George embarks upon a journey of self-discovery, and he finds a kindred spirit in an also-lonely Hermione Granger. During his search, George hopes to find himself as well as the person meant to be his other half. George/Hermione
Warning mostly due to some swearing and innuendo in later chapters.
This story is now finished! Thanks to everybody who read!
I just read this straight through-
This story was great, but I was stunned that they broke up. I hope George and Fred have a heart to heart and he makes things right with Hermione because I don't think that they were just using eachother because of lonlieness..
Can't wait until the epilogue is approved so I can read it!
Write more stories! This was awesome!
Summary: This story takes place about midway through "The Half-Blood Prince" and details some squabbles (and fluff :D) between Ron and Hermione. The rating is just to be safe. :)
Hermione just wanted Ron alone
Author's Response: lol. I dunno ... guess you\'ll just have to keep reading! :D
Cute story so far! Keep writing!
Author's Response: Will do! :) Thank you so much! :D
Summary: Harry Potter and his best friends return for their seventh and final year of school. The Wizarding world begins to rebuild itself after the events of the Battle of Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic and the Order of the Phoenix work together to round up the remaining Death Eaters, still at large.
Love it so far! Update soon!
Instead of a romantic sail along the coast of Zanzibar with his fiancée, George got a fishing trip with a Slytherin.
*A "honeymoon" missing moment from For Bitter or for Worse.*
"For the same reason you never asked Alicia out. We fooled ourselves into thinking we had all the time in the world."
I love the input that Fred has in your stories. But I really admire this one because it is so true.
Happy Birthday Weasley Twins! RIP Fred.
I wish it wasn't true, that Fred was alive, saying this, not just living on in George's memory.
Thank you for cheering me on a day that's happy and sad!
Summary: Despite their best efforts, the word "wait" is always in the vocabulary of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley. Kicking off after the final battle is done and Voldemort is gone, this is how Harry and Ginny sent "wait" to the wayside. *one-shot*
I absolutely loved this. It made me want to read the whole series over and then find some good Harry/Ginny post-DH fanfics. I'm awfully exciting, aren't I?
Hahha. Great writing.
Author's Response: Whenever I read a particularly good fanfiction it simply makes me crave more Harry Potter -- I either have to pick up one of the books of find another fanficion. I'm glad to see you liked this so much! Thanks for the review.
