Bio:
Right now I'm especially bored and procrastinating, so I'm writing an extremely long, pointless bio. Sound like fun?

I almost never read Harry Potter--not because I didn't like reading, but more because I was stubborn and nonsensical as a 9-year-old. But one day my dad snuck the Sorcerer's Stone into my room, and for some reason I picked it up. I read it straight through in twelve hours, and have been obsessed with the series ever since.

About two years ago I started writing fanfiction, and I'm incredibly self-conscious about my work, so I love the anonymity of the Internet. I write a lot of Marauder's Era, but I like most categories. I recklessly misuse and overexploit commas and semicolons. Also, I am very bothered by how many sentences I have just started with "I." But oh well.

I live in Wisconsin and I'm just about the most awkward person ever. I like snow and cake and thunderstorms, hate the number 34 (and also those trees that bloom mid-June and smell terrible), and am known for all sorts of graceful feats such as tripping and breaking my arm. I recycle obsessively, type loudly and like cooking. I'm also one of those crazy people who runs because it's fun.

I love music to a ridiculous degree. I play viola (NOT violin) and I listen to a very strange mixture of classical (mainly late-romantic-period works), heavy metal, and broadway. I try to sing but most people wish I wouldn't.

I ship: James/Lily, Sirius/Remus, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, and most canons.

The Deal:
I always have way more ideas than time or work ethic (hence my work is mainly one-shots), but right now I've got something very epic brewing and I'd really like it to actually exist. In the meantime, feel free to check out my LiveJournal if you really want to read pointless rants and mediocre drabbles.

Summary: This is book two in the "Potter's Pentagon" trilogy. Read "Potter's Pentagon: The Five" first, myesss? Cool.

WARNING: This story contains French people, an internal monologue about a blue orange, adolescent facial hair, good old-fashioned snogging, superstitious truck drivers, a portrait who calls everyone "Mavis," a zoo break-in, some very strange clothes, romantic conflict galore, and Ron Weasley's caffeine addiction. And worst of all, Professor Zabini!

Hogwarts is hosting the Triwizard Tournament, and when one of the members of Potter's Pentagon is selected to represent the school, much excitement ensues. Simultaneously, elections are being held for Minister of Magic, and things are getting busy at the Ministry.

Not to mention the fact that Jordan's made a new Muggle friend without informing her of the itty-bitty fact that he's magical, Haley has found an enchanted diary of dubious origin, Ted's met a werewolf from Beauxbatons, and Emma... well, Emma's not having a good year.

And what exactly is Ivy up to, anyway?

Everyone has secrets. But in the end, the truth will have to come out.

Starring Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character Nominees Ivy Potter, Emma Weasley, Haley Potter, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards!

Summary: Twenty years after the death of Voldemort. A murderer is on the loose, and he is using a powerful weapon - a creature known as the Atronach, a beast of fire that leaves traces of sulfur where it makes its kill.

Ron Weasley is the first to stumble across these murders, and Harry Potter arranges for the old trio, plus Ginny, to team up and face this threat. The mysterious orphaned teenage girl Amanda, whom Harry keeps as a foster child under nebulous circumstances, also offers her help.

However, underlying the case of the murders is a much deeper conspiracy, one involving the last true disciple of the Dark Lord, a man who operates in the shadows, a man who seems to be directing and predicting the every move of the trio and their quarry...a man who may be more powerful than Voldemort himself. Even though the threat of a sadistic murderer is high, it only conceals a far greater one. And in this story of love, deception, fear, hate, anger, betrayal, courage, and passion, the unanswered question is - when will this mysterious orchestrater tip his hand? Part One of a trilogy.

This fic has everything. The Marauders, Shakespeare, humour, romance, devious plans and maybe even a bit of snogging here and there ... so are you ready?

“Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into Hey, nonny, nonny”

Symphony for Quartet by Tinn Tam
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 271]

Summary:

Winner of the QuickSilver Quills Award, categ. Best Marauder Era.

What did being a Marauder truly mean?... Let's just say that some tunes cannot be played by a lone musician; and those four's lives were certainly not soloists' scores. In class or in detention, in Quidditch matches or full-moon wanderings, fleeing before monsters or confronting dark wizards, they wrote, measure after measure, their own eight-handed piece.

Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs, are proud to present a Symphony for Quartet.

While Harry is preparing himself for the big battle, You-Know-Who and his two-minded servant are too....So you have him bursting in the scene everywhere - in the wedding, in Mundungus' den, in Godric's and even in JKR's mansion...

For is a crazy universe where the real and literary worlds coexist - and the only person who hasn't read book 6 is none other than - Lord Voldemort!

Warning: severe OOCness

And what do readers say about it?

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! This is amazing! I love stories about Voldemort, and this one definitely does him justice. You have a wonderful sense of humour..."
