The Dark Lord’s hold over the British Empire has grown, his armies now stronger and more numerous than ever. The mere mention of his name strikes terror into the heart of witches and wizards all over the world. Shadows are beginning to fall, hope beginning to fade. Albus Dumbledore is doing his best to muster his own army. Unbeknownst to all, a Prophecy is about to be made – one that will change the course of the future forever.

Yet in some places, small joys can be found, in the midst of heartbreak. Sirius Black is mourning for his dead wife, when he meets a young girl, just out of Hogwarts. Will he allow her into his life? Will she allow him into hers?
