Curse of the Reapers by deanine
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 308]
Summary:
A different sort of alternate universe... It is a world under the thumb of an ancient emperor. Muggle society has been oppressed beyond recognition. Wizards rule over all, their only laws defined by power. This is the story of a rebellion, a family, a traitor, and the long road that leads home at last.
The Severed Souls by Magical Maeve
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 273]
Summary: Summary : The sequel to Daughter of Light. Maeve has a very bad end to her honeymoon as things come to light about Severus that astound her. Why is her husband so keen to keep Draco Malfoy alive at all costs and can she really get over her loathing of Narcissa Malfoy to work together to save both Severus and Draco from the fate that Voldemort would like to inflict on them? Why is Harry so furtive and will Neville save the day when Maeve’s necklace is returned to her by her father. Oh, and our favourite bad-boy Auror is back!
There has been rather a long break in the writing of the story due to work commitments, but I'm back on the case and hoping to get it finished - if there's anyone left still reading!! :-)
"I Am...Who?" by Malika Potter
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 139]
Summary: Harry Potter wakes up at his aunt and uncle's house...with no memory of the past six years. He cannot remember magic, Hogwarts, or even his two loyal best friends. He does know that something is very wrong, and his relatives are treating him like a bomb that could go off at any moment
Harry Potter and the Heirs of Slytherin by fawkes_07
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 590]
Summary: This is an alternate version of Book Seven. Harry reluctantly returns to Hogwarts to train with a new DADA teacher, one appointed in specifically for Harry in Dumbledore's will. As the rest of the Wizard World reacts to Dumbledore's defeat, Harry develops the skills he needs to fulfill the Prophecy--including mastery of the Kedavra curse.
Mysteries are explored along the way, particularly the "missing 24 hours" from 1981--the span of time between Hagrid taking Baby Harry from the ruins of Godric's Hollow on Halloween Night, and his arrival to hand off Baby Harry on Privet Drive the following night. The Veil Room in the Department of Mysteries is also revisited. A traitor is uncovered, and Dumbledore's wisdom comes into question. And even when all goes as planned, things are not all they seem.
Private Lessons by fawkes_07
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 46]
Summary: A bleak and angsty post-HBP fic about damaged souls and suchlike.
The Six by helgaandgodric
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 28]
Summary: What are six best friends to do? Enjoy their seventh year, if possible! Join Air, Layla, May, Sean, Jack, and Theo, Ravenclaws in Ginny's year, as they fall in and out of love, survive and accident or two, and stick together, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health.
This was originally prompted by a challenge from awhile ago that I couldn't participate in. There will be two chapters of Autobiography, four (notice the new number!) of Conflict, six of Great Love, and one of Resolution.
New rating as a precautionary for later chapters, and warnings might pop up along the way. Also, it has been edited to comply with DH, so you might want to reread some chapters. It is not necessary, though.
In Adversity We Know Our Friends by Wise Owl
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 1409]
Summary: This story is about Harry's struggle...his struggle to obey his mind when his heart is screaming out in protest .
It's about Ginny's secrets, her aching heart, and where her loyalty lies.
Mainly, this story is about friends, those you can trust and those who can't trust you.
Reviews are fun and easy! So don't shy away from stating your opinion...trust me, it feeds the fire so I'm not left out in the cold! ;)

******Higher rating just to be safe.

This story has not been abandoned. Due to having my Daughter, I have not had time to update it, but I do plan on continueing this in the near future.

The Second by Slian Martreb
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 14]
Summary: Per Sirius: Until of course the first full moon after that in which the lot of us woke up at the crack of dawn sort of sprawled in our usual spots around the Shack, except for me and Remus, who had in fact ended up in a sort of tangle. I didn't kiss him until the wolf was entirely gone, you understand, but I don't think anyone had ever been that close when he came out of a moon and was back in his right mind and yeah. Bloody hell. Toes. Curled. James threw a shoe at my head and threatened the hose. Bah. He was just jealous.
A Stolen Past by nuw255
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 428]
Summary:
Fifteen-year-old Harry Potter wakes up in his cupboard under the stairs at number four, Privet Drive with no memory of the past five years of his life. What happened to his memory? What do his strange dreams mean? And most importantly, how will he survive in a school for incurably criminal boys?
This is primarily a mystery, with a bit of shippiness thrown in here and there. Of course, if I told you WHO is involved in the shippiness, that would ruin part of the mystery, wouldn’t it?
This story takes place immediately after OotP (and thus disregards HBP).
Better Than Me by rard
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 18]
Summary: A short RL/NT fic that explores Remus' feelings from just after Sirius' death up through the end of Book 6. Currently, we're looking at about three chapters or so. The story was inspired by the song "Better Than Me" by Hinder - it's not a songfic, just an idea I had while listening to the song!
Later chapters contain HBP spoilers!
Rating is just in case and for very slight language use.
The last chapter is in the queue! Thanks to all my faithful readers for being so very patient with me.

Dear Dumby by Oppungo
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 715]
Summary: What happens when Dumbledore has his latest "brilliant" idea, to start an advice column, and call it 'Dear Dumby'? Letters from some of our favourite Hogwarts students, some of our not so favourite Hogwarts students, some not even Hogwarts students at all, and, of course, lots of madness!
Pre-HBP for obvious reasons!
Nominee for the Best Humour Award in the Quicksilver Quill Awards! Many thanks to all who voted for it!
Beyond the Prophecy by the_bartender713
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 287]
Summary: Oh, I'll tell you a tale of a sainted wizard, of his friends and their adventures in store. And I'll tell you a tale of an evil wizard, of the decimated world torn apart by his war.
But be warned, I say, think not far ahead. For where you might see gain, loss may be instead.
Heavily run the theories and conclusions dreamt out of whims, but know that what you hope lies most likely not within.
She's written the words, and told the lot of trials, tribulations, and soul-eating rot.
But I won't tell you how, and I won't tell you when. Just know your illustrious Bartender has done it yet again
What lies Beyond the Prophecy and Harry Potter's life- who knows? Only the exalted one, Merlin, and the one who writes.
