I took my Penname after Eleanor Prewett, a character I created in a fanfic I'm writing. However, I refuse to post it until it is farther along, I don't want anyone to have to wait a long time between updates (that drives me mad!).
I'm also having trouble pushing the action to the main conflict (kidnap, betrayl, and unforgivable curses included). At the moment, they're all lying on the floor asleep and not even for a very good reason. Still, I'm happy with the story so far and, once I've pushed a little farther and settle into a pattern, I'll start posting my chapters.
But just for the general knowledge of anyone who might be wondering, Eleanor will enter Harry's life the summer before sixth year and never really leave it again. And don't worry, she isn't an exchange student. Ellie will be back in America by September 1st though her adventures won't end there. I'll show you her world, but only after her summer with Harry at the Burrow and 12 Grimmauld Place is complete.
Ellie's past is complicated and filled with memories of Mauraders and Order members, even though she's just 16. You'll understand who and what she remembers if you read! Look for her soon!
Goodbye for now!
Summary: Summary : The sequel to Daughter of Light. Maeve has a very bad end to her honeymoon as things come to light about Severus that astound her. Why is her husband so keen to keep Draco Malfoy alive at all costs and can she really get over her loathing of Narcissa Malfoy to work together to save both Severus and Draco from the fate that Voldemort would like to inflict on them? Why is Harry so furtive and will Neville save the day when Maeve’s necklace is returned to her by her father. Oh, and our favourite bad-boy Auror is back!
There has been rather a long break in the writing of the story due to work commitments, but I'm back on the case and hoping to get it finished - if there's anyone left still reading!! :-)
