The Magic of Muggle Sweets by Huskers

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 28 Reviews
Summary: I wrote this for the, Short and Sweet Summer Fic Contest, on pnoenixsong.net. It took fifth place in the contest, and I am posting it here for people to read now.

The story is set in the summer after Harry's fifth year about a week before the return to school. The premise of the contest was to write a short, 3000 words or less, story that involved the sharing of a sweet of some sort between the characters in the story. The sweet could be Muggle or Magical. This is what I came up with.

Don't Cry by MoonysMistress

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 28 Reviews
Summary: "Don't tell me you know how I feel," Ginny choked out, tears cascading down her cheeks. "You don't. He was my brother, all right? HE WAS MY BROTHER!" "I know," Harry said sadly, fighting back tears of his own. "And he was my best friend." Harry comforts a grieving Ginny after Ron's funeral. One-shot songfic to the song "Don't Cry" from the musical The Most Happy Fella. (I know, go figure, right?) More angst than fluff.
