'"This morning," McGonagall began, her face white. "I was greeted by two hysterical young girls from Ravenclaw. They informed me that they, along with their best friend Melanie Trumpett, were approached by a cloaked figure who appeared to have came from the Forbidden Forest. These two girls tried to persuade their friend to come along with them, as they were cautious of the stranger, but they said that Ms. Trumpett was answering oddly. She didn't look the same, and her eyes looked "funny"...'
Summary: Everyone knows that Lily hated James. That is, until a special bottle worked its magic on them. When Lily is distraught from the death of her parents she can't imagine life without them. She finds a letter in a bottle that gives her strength to go on. Who was this boy that wrote to her? Could there possibly be someone out there that loved her so deeply?
This is the prequel to my other story, Message in a Bottle. It isn't essential that you read that one first, but it might be helpful.
Summary: Before James got Lily, Lily played him and dated another guy. It all really started during the winter of their 7th year with humiliation on the Marauders’ side, defense on Lily’s part, and admiration/confusion from that certain boy. Not to mention the plans and danger that got Lily into James’s widespread arms.
