The Grey Lady of Hogwarts: The Forgotten and Non-Alliterative Ghost of Ravenclaw House by Ravenclaw
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 10]
Summary: Who was the Grey Lady? A group of people meet one night to try to determine the answer to this question. The story they decide upon will be entered into the new edition of 'A History of Hogwarts.' But do they really know?
Summary: For the third time in three nights, Malfoy has awoken from disturbing nightmares. In order to rid himself of these plaguing dreams, he summons what he believes to be an ancestor. Unfortunately for him, it's not.
Summary: It's funny about wars. They drive people to do things we never would ordinarily--good and bad. Harry and I had only been dating for four months. He loved me--I know that and I knew it then--but if there hadn't been a war, he would have waited. I think he just wanted something to hold onto...for when it was all over.
Ron comes across Ginny's diary, four years after the war has ended.EDIT: 1000 reads!
Summary: Harry writes a love note to one person...but someone else recieves it and gets the wrong idea. From here, confusion and chaos come about. Who is really sending the notes? Who really likes who? What is going on?!
Summary: Harry finds himself in a strange place with an altered Ginny for company. And what are those words that he can hear on the wind?
In fact, the horrendous things in this collection are too numerous to name. I wouldn't think of mentioning such things as an evil wizard, birthday presents, ghosts, an owl, or a spider-filled closet.
With all due respect,
P.S. This chapters in this collection may be read in any order you please. Although, it would probably please you more if you did not read them at all.
Summary: Two part ficlet. Ron has found himself in love with Hermione, but is now convinced that she 'detests' him. A simple gesture on his part could reveal the truth between the two friends. Includes references to Pride & Prejudice and 'The Ruined Puzzle' by Dashboard Confessional, because they both rock.
Summary: The Hogwarts Express brings mystery and mischief in the Marauders' seventh and final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter are facing a year of N.E.W.T.s, romance, intrigue, and, of course, a little mischief-making. There are plot twists galore! James (in the midst of saving the world) continues desperately to try to woo the incorrigible Lily Evans. Sirius deals with family problems while dealing with his incredible popularity and good looks (the horror!). Remus is provided with a backdoor to avoiding the prejudices of the inevitable real world, but at what cost? (dun-dun-dun) And Peter...well, Peter gets himself a girlfriend (but don't worry: it doesn't affect his hero-worshipping of James...or DOES IT?!)
Summary: Ron accidentally takes a potion to free him from his every inhibition - with 'interesting' results. Will this finally be the push that makes him reveal to Hermione his true feelings? Not so much fluffy as funny.
Summary: Begins at King's Cross and continues at the Burrow the summer after 5th year. Ron confronts Hermione about Viktor Krum and learns a few things. A little fluff, a little angst, a little Fred and George...
Summary: Lily and James are getting on rather peacefully with their lives when Dumbledore arrives to inform them that they have been marked for death by Lord Voldemort. They enlist the help of James's, best friend, Sirius Black who makes a suggestion that could change their fates dramatically.
Summary: "No one stops to consider for a moment why I'm so dependent on those books of mine, why I have so many. I am different. I do not prattle, I do not gossip, I do not twirl my hair and flutter my lashes. Clothing is meant to cover my nakedness, not flaunt my body. I am not covered in cosmetics, nor do I read the silly rags that the girls in my dorm read. I seek knowledge, and truth. I want permission to be myself. I want to walk down the halls of my school, of my world, without hearing the half-whispered remarks about me. I want to sit with my friends, and know that they appreciate my company, and not the fact that I can revise their homework. I want to live." A moment in Hermione's life, where she contemplates her past, present, and future.
Summary: This tale of the teacher whom everyone loathes,
Accounts for his anger and elegant clothes.
It dripped through my mind when, too scantily cloaked,
I got caught in a rainstorm and throughly soaked.
WARNING: Despite the glints of humour, you will need a handkerchief.
