I'm 26 years old and happily married with one puppy and hopes of children in the not-so-distant future. My dear father is to blame for my frightening HP obsession, as he was the one who sent me the first 3 books in 1999, little knowing he was creating a monster!
I've been writing stories since I was 4 and devouring books before that. My favorite things to read are a mix between classics, contemporary fantasy, Christian fiction and children's books. I adore well-written stories with a compelling plot, convincing characters, warmth, and both subtle and laugh-out-loud humor. I despise gratuitous sex and violence, and tend to get annoyed with overly pompous, flowery prose reminiscent of the way I used to write when I was 14 - immature writing, in my opinion.
With those few exceptions (and sometimes without), I'll read almost anything!
For the past 10 years or so I've been working on sporadically on my own original work, a fantasy trilogy (which I may never finish at the rate I'm going), and I'm suffering extreme burnout. I haven't written a decent short story in ages.
I'm rather new to writing fan fiction, but I've read quite a bit, and in addition to "Who's Messing With My Head" I have a few other fics in the works, including a coming-of-age story centered around a minor character, a romance set in Harry's 6th year, and my own stab at a Sorcerer's Stone parody. Concurrently, as I browse this archive, I'm trying really, really hard not to get addicted... I have found so many great authors and stories here on MuggleNet!
Thank you very, very much for reading! Please let me know how I'm doing!
Oh, and I'm also known as shmink on CosForums...

The four of them now have to struggle to be accepted, keep their identities from certain persons and find a way home.
This story will contain some romance -- if you don't accept certain couples or just desperately want to know who's going to pair up, just e-mail me, and I'll tell you.
