~ I do not know what the future holds, but... I know who holds the future! ~ Proverbs 3:5-7
Hello all! You have somehow meandered onto my profile page (I really don't know how). My name is Christina, I am 18 years old, and I live in America. Currently I attend the local community college where I take various classes (this semester I'm taking physics amoung other things; it is really hard!!!) and tutor in math and english. I am also involved in many campus activites such as the Student Government Association and the Christian Student Union. This coming spring I am going to be an exchange student to Australia!
I have been a Harry Potter fanatic since I saw the first movie at age 11. I have read fanfiction since I stumbled on this sight when I was 13. Although I have not yet written any fanfiction, I have reciently been bombarded with plot bunnies. Who knows! Maybe when I am finally finished with school in five years you will see me posting stories!
Summary: Molly Prewett is about to start her third year at Hogwarts and her mischievous brothers are about to begin their first year. Follow Molly and her friends as they learn about life, love, loss and even magic.
Chapter 20 has been posted!
Summary: James and Lily spend their summers together producing plays, though neither are happy about the presence of the other. With James, as the set designer, and Lily, as the actress, tensions run high.
Summary: Summary: What happened on that fateful night at Godric's Hollow and the (still!) unknown events that followed in the next twenty four hours, before Harry's arrival on Privet Drive? What motivated the actions and decisions that were made in the years leading up to the defeat of Voldemort? The truth is neither black or white - only complicated shades of grey. Behind the stories of Lily Evans, Severus Snape and Peter Pettigrew we learn that we are all vulnerable to evil.
(written between HBP and DH - story is complete)
Summary: 2009 QSQ Awards Winner for Best Chaptered Canon Romance
Before the chosen one was ever born, his parents had to meet, fall in love, and defy Voldemort three times. Easier said than done. Things were never easy for Harry Potter's parents, but it gets a whole lot harder when Death Eaters kidnap Lily. This is the story of Lily and James, the trials they face, and how James finally wins Lily's heart. (pre-Deathly Hallows)
“I’ll always protect you.”
Summary: Runner-up for the QuickSilver Quills Award, categ. Best Alternate Universe
“No matter the time or place, people should never call their child Marie-Antoinette. There is no happiness in this world for a girl called Marie-Antoinette.”
1983. In a world where Voldemort has won the First War, where hope has fled from an Earth moaning under the Dark Lord's iron hand, marriages are broken and others are arranged in order to preserve the sacred purity of blood. James Potter loses his wife; now they have to find another for him.
Summary: Remus Lupin tolerates mischievous friends and lycanthropy, while the prophetic Ariadne MacDougal negotiates a misguided family, and everyone must deal with the Death Eaters. A rather dark coming-of-age story about the death of innocence and the renewal of hope during Voldemort’s first war.
Part I of The Moon-Cursers. Now updated to be DH-compatible.
Summary: Sometimes, perspective is everything.
From day one at Hogwarts, Severus Snape had problems, half of his own making, half not; how one interprets those problems depends entirely on one's point of view.
At least with Severus, one principle is always consistent: he gives just as good as he gets.
Summary: Remus and Ariadne Lupin have the same problems as any other newlyweds - work, money, in-laws, communication - and, of course, werewolves. Will her idealism collapse under the pressure of his lycanthropy? Or will her approach take him by surprise yet?
Part III of The Moon-Cursers. Now updated to be DH-compatible.
Summary: Harry Potter disappears immediately after defeating Lord Voldemort, and the circumstances all point to him being dead. But when has Harry ever been known to just roll over and die? Join Harry on a journey of self-discovery to find the family he never knew he had.
Summary: “Imperius… Werewolves…You-Know-Who…” The last words of a dying man force Remus Lupin into a dangerous investigation at the infamous Feral Institute. Sequel to Oblivious; pre-reading would be useful but it isn’t vital.
Summary: At some point there had to have been a choice.
The logical place to begin a story is at the point of the first decision. But what if there were no decisions? What if, at every point, there was only one possible act? What if the story simply cannot be told?
Completed (though not posted) entirely pre-DH.
Summary: The war is on and the only person with the power to stop Voldemort's second reign of terror is sulking alone in a cold, dark room. The unexpected arrival of an old school chum in Privet Drive jolts him to action, however, as Harry begins his most exciting year at Hogwarts. Year 6 will include a visit to the ancient village of Godric's Hollow; a first hand account of the 1000 year old quarrel that ripped Hogwarts apart; a Fred and George-style farewell to a certain ex-Minister of Magic; and the discovery of the Half-Blood Prince, a mysterious figure who holds the key to winning the war...
(And, as J.K. says, what's life without a little romance?)
Summary: Book Two in the 'Lily' series, Nuttier Than A Fruitcake, portrays Lily's fifth year at Hogwarts, a time filled with hormones, confusion, and of course, run ins with the ever obnoxious, James Potter.
Summary: Lily and her friends journey through life's ups and downs during their years at Hogwarts. Though they go their separate ways, they all take one message to heart- friendship never dies.
Summary: In post-war England, the Ministry of Magic is closing Azkaban Prison, and prisoners are being released to family members. What will happen to Severus Snape, who has no family? Hermione Granger has a notion of what can be done.
Summary: Hi, I’m Lily Evans. You know, there are a lot of fics about me out there. I’m flattered that you spend time thinking about me, but sometimes sickened. How could these fics not mention my
bonkers beautiful cat, Missy? And what about my evil and malicious extremely helpful conscience? Or the fact that I make a fool out of myself at every opportunity am unique?
Well, this fic has all of these things. It also has L.O.V.E (I’m the ‘L’), the elite group of
cliquey lovely girls that I am part of. And our rival, the sarcastic cynic also unique Iola Potter (cousin and partner in crime to James). But does it have an actual plot? Of course not Absolutely! And it starts with me getting a detention with Iola (through no fault of my own, of course). And we kind of ... almost ... well, we get on alright. A friendship sparks, shall we say. I have no idea how it happens It is meant to be. But it’s going to take some fighting for if we want to keep it. It would be a lot easier to just stick to what we know, really. We were perfectly happy hating each other. But ... well. I guess you’ll have to find out!
Read this or I’ll curse you Read this and I’ll love you!
