Summary: It's been several years since the war, where some died... and some barely came out alive. Azkaban was destroyed, Dementors banished, and a New Azkaban erected in its place. Hermione is in her twenties now, a Guardian of New Azkaban, where she meets someone very unexpected in the dark.
Summary: A blind Muggle girl shows up at Hogwarts after a run-in with Death Eaters, looking for a solution to her mess and a place to recuperate.
I do not own any of Dante's work, nor do I want to. The former also holds true for Jeff Smith; sadly, the latter does not. I wish I owned his ideas. As it is, I just messed around with them. Please approach this fic with a very open mind; while nothing is particularly controversial, some of the concepts are very, very abstract and possibly arbitrary.
Some said he had been a Death Eater, others that he had fought bravely for the Ministry during the war. Nearly everyone took advantage of his fabulous hospitality. And fabulous it was; in his superb Wiltshire home he gave the most amazing parties, and not the least remarkable thing about them was that few people could recognise their host. He seemed to be a man without a background, without history, whose eyes were always searching the glittering crowds for something… or someone?
Summary: Severus is entranced by a dream.
Summary: Voldemort reflects on his fading human condition. He exposes his innermost thoughts, such as his life in the orphanage, his feelings toward his parents, his regrets, and the origin of his hatred toward those who love and are loved. The poem does not inspire pity of Voldemort, but rather a new understanding of his human side.
Summary: You, Lucius Malfoy, have a reason to fight.
Summary: ‘We think He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named may have murdered her in person, because she was a very gifted witch and—and all the evidence was that she put up a real fight.’
Amelia Bones expected to be targeted at some point, and she was ready to defend herself (or run, depending on the odds)...but being trapped in her own apartment by the Dark Lord was not in her plans. (Madam Bones was an interesting character who didn't get much book-time, but she deserved a proper death scene--this is my attempt to give it to her.)
Summary: After the fall of Voldemort, an ancient nemesis rears his head against the magical world. This time Harry is not the center of any prophecy, but can he prevent it anyway? Can a battle weary Harry Potter stand up to someone who even Voldemort feared?
Summary: Remus Lupin has excellent hearing and he's only come across one thing that he never wants to hear again.
This was written for the SBBC Summer Swap. I have Preethi's wonderful prompt.
Summary: The whole wizarding world is in uproar after the death of Dumbledore. All Death Eaters have a price on their heads. During these troubled times Hermione finds Draco Malfoy practically on her doorstep- with no memory of who he is or what he's done. Why is he there? Why does he wake screaming every night? And how can she deal with a Malfoy who regards her as his best friend... or maybe more?
Summary: The first thing it knew was the hunger. Life from a Dementor's point of view.
Summary: After a potion goes awry, Draco finds himself as the newly appointed babysitter of one Hermione Granger, age: 4. As if that wasn't humiliating enough, his wand is confiscated by Potter and he is forced to do everything the dreaded Muggle way.
Note to my readers: This story has been on hiatus forever due to a variety of factors. I do hope to finish it some day, but don't hold your breath. Also, this is NOT a Dramione nor will I change it to be one. Lastly, I am in the process of rewriting this story so bear with me.
Summary: First take one ghoul. Stun it, and stuff it into pyjamas before it has time to struggle. Add red hair. Cover the final product liberally in large painful boils. What you produce using this method should be a perfect replica for a Weasley with spattergroit - and if Fred and George were right, better looking than Ron - and the rest was straightforward.
Summary: My version of Book 7. Harry sets off on his quest for Voldemort’s Horcruxes and discovers the true loyalties of certain wizards. He also receives some much-needed help from Hogwarts, though the school itself remains closed. The war against Voldemort rages on and spreads in the Wizarding community. As the death toll rises, Harry, Ron, and Hermione desperately search for the pieces of Voldemort’s soul and the key to his downfall. The lives they had known crumble around them, and the Trio finally come to realize that nothing, not even each other, can be secure anymore.
Summary: Taking place after HBP. Professor Snape has been found to be a spy and He-who-must-not-be-named has imprisoned him in an enchanted cottage, until he can find a use for the Potions Master.
Summary: The war is on and the only person with the power to stop Voldemort's second reign of terror is sulking alone in a cold, dark room. The unexpected arrival of an old school chum in Privet Drive jolts him to action, however, as Harry begins his most exciting year at Hogwarts. Year 6 will include a visit to the ancient village of Godric's Hollow; a first hand account of the 1000 year old quarrel that ripped Hogwarts apart; a Fred and George-style farewell to a certain ex-Minister of Magic; and the discovery of the Half-Blood Prince, a mysterious figure who holds the key to winning the war...
(And, as J.K. says, what's life without a little romance?)
Summary: It's not easy living in the shadow of genuis. Aberforth Dumbledore contemplates his brother while spending time with his special friend.
For the One-Shot Challenge-Tales of Albus Dumbledore, prompt one. By Sly Severus of Slytherin.
Summary: Hermione and Draco - an unlikely pair - go from intense dislike to true love in this story.
Severus Snape has ambitions to rise above his humble beginnings. Eris Greyback has a family debt to repay. Their romance is a more complicated brew than the trickiest of potions. SSEG, LEJP. The sequel, The Potions Master's Apprentice, is also complete.
*Winner of the 2007 QSQ Award for Best Marauder Era Story*
Summary: What happens when Dumbledore has his latest "brilliant" idea, to start an advice column, and call it 'Dear Dumby'? Letters from some of our favourite Hogwarts students, some of our not so favourite Hogwarts students, some not even Hogwarts students at all, and, of course, lots of madness!
Pre-HBP for obvious reasons!
