Summary: The Second War has ended, but there is still so much work to be done. Death Eaters are still at large, the Ministry and its laws are in disarray, families have been torn apart, and love that has laid quiet in the hearts of four teenagers for a year or more is now ready to burst into the open. Watch as the foundations of the Wizarding world are rebuilt and Harry Potter and his friends find their places in a world without Voldemort.
All characters, settings, places, spells, creatures, and what ever else you can think of belong to JK Rowling or were inspired by the same.
The kitchen at the Burrow has six occupants, Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Molly and Arthur. The youngsters look nervous. Arthur suspects that they are up to something. What is going on inside…
The Mind of Arthur Weasley
Summary: On the morning of Christmas Day, 2000, Hermione Granger (soon-to-be-Weasley) wakes up from a delightful dream to find herself in a bathroom at Grimmauld Place.
As various Weasleys queue up to tell her all about her behaviour the night before at Aunt Muriel's birthday party, Hermione is in a state of shock.
She knows she didn't drink anything stronger than Butterbeer. So why was she wearing a toga and teaching everyone how to perform Greek dancing?
And what, in the name of Merlin, was she doing with George?
This is Equinox Chick and this is my entry for the extra credit challenge 'In Vino Veritas' for the Winter Snows 09 competition over at the MNFF beta boards.
Thank you to Apurva for beta'ing this tale in time. Thanks also to various people on AIM for telling me to get on with this (Jess, Natalie, Hannah, Russia, Kara, BB)
Disclaimer: I'm not JK Rowling. She would never have written anything quite so daft.
Claimer: I have disgraced myself wearing a toga before now.
Summary: This fic is a series of missing moments from the time H/R&H were at Shell Cottage, beginning immediately after they Disapparated from Malfoy Manor. JKR shows us what was going on with Harry, but this is my version of what could have happened with Ron and Hermione after one of the most emotional/disturbing events in the entire series.
UPDATED June 2010 When I first wrote this fic, I didn't know what a beta reader was, and frankly, it showed. Thanks so much to Natalie for helping me polish this up and make it more readable. Thanks also to both Julia and Carole, whose helpful comments in the review section allowed me to make some much-needed corrections during the rewrite. I would love to know what you think ~ reviews are very much appreciated!
This was nominated in the 2010 Quicksilver Quill Awards for Best Canon Romance.
After returning from Australia with the Grangers, Ron realises the moment to make some important confessions to Hermione has come.Inspired by the Ludo song, "Streetlights." A part of the "Moments" series.
Summary: They have battled evil, fate, destiny, time, even each other. Now Ron and Hermione take an emotional ride to battle something equally as treacherous….nerves.
The third installment in my “Battles” series continues here in a fluffier-than-is-normal-for-this-author tale depicting the Jitters Ron and Hermione experience when popping the big question and the events leading up to it.
If you have just found this story, be sure to read “Internal Battles” and “Battling Boundaries”. This story stands alone, but the other two will help complete the back-story. You should enjoy them too! Let me know what you think!
Disclaimer: JKR started it…I am just playing with the fabulous characters!
Summary: One of Ron and Hermione's infamous arguments in Gryffindor Tower gets slightly out-of-hand, leading to complication, confusion, and an unexpected apology. But conquering their feelings becomes only the first in a series of battles the two must face.
Summary: Hermione reflects on her relationship with Ron, beginning with his walking out in DH.
Summary: Mostly R/Hr, scenes of their lives post-DH together. Pretty fluffy!
Summary: Ron and Hermione were all about love, right? But it is now two years after the end of the War and they are reuniting for the first time. Experience, first-hand, as they try to remember that time so long ago when love had trapped them in its spell. Ron wonders if it was Ginny and Harry that drove Hermione away from him. Only time will tell; and maybe a few memories... This is a Ron/Hermione fic, but there are many referances to Ginny/Harry.
Summary: Reuniting after a ‘friendship hiatus’, Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Hermione are entangled once again in a mystery that involves an ex-lover, disappearing girls, and a mysterious, magical potion causing all sorts of problems.
This Post-Hogwarts fic focuses on Ron and Hermione’s ‘budding’ relationship while the four friends attempt to solve a mystery in a club called ‘Boundaries’. Will the boundaries that Ron and Hermione have barricaded themselves behind survive the ‘knock, knock’ of true love attempting to beat them down?
This fic is the sequel to Internal Battles also by Emily Jayne.
This story is now complete.
Summary: Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.
Quicksilver Quills Runner-Up - Best Romance, Canon
Summary: This story starts out right were HBP left off. Ron and Hermione obviously have feelings for each other. All they need is a little help, confidence, and a push in the right direction. Will Harry and Ginny get back together in their quest to push together their best friends? Will Harry and his friends be able to destroy Voldemort? It will take love, friendship, strength, and trust to be able to free the wizarding world from the clutches of the Dark Lord.
Summary: This story follows the time the trio will be spending at the Dursley’s home on Privet Drive. As the trio prepares to take on the biggest mission of their lives, Ron and Hermione 'fight' their own “Internal Battles” to determine if a romantic relationship will be a new beginning for them, or doom their friendship, and along with it, any hope of success against "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named”. Are Hermione and Ron finally going to give in to their feelings for each other?
I elaborated very much upon this short period of time, but I had a lot of fun writing about it.
This story is complete...but there is a continuation! See the final A/N: for details!
Summary: PRE-DH Ron and Hermione are getting married...and life chose just that perfect moment to shake them with a shocking discovery...
But love prevails, especially love as strong as Ron and Hermione's. Love unconditional and trusting, no matter the circumstances, makes everything just perfect.
After her first kiss with Ron, Hermione asks Ginny for advice. What follows is a lesson in the things we do for love.
This three part story was written pre-HBP, when the future looked, if not exactly rosy, at least not that dreadful shade of Lavender that coloured the Potterverse in the sixth book.
* Rated for snogging ^_~*
Summary: Hermione come shome from work at theMinistry to a surprise: Chocolate Frogs. Lots of Chocolate Frogs. What is Ron up to? A sugary sweet one shot.
Summary: Starts where HBP leaves off.
Will Harry and his friends get to live happily ever after? Or will the Prophecy and You-Know-Who be too much to overcome?
This one has it all, folks! Love and lust! Money and power! Hob Nobs and Fairy Liquid! The Beatles and U2! C'mon! You know you want to read it...
Oh, yeah - it's got H/G and Hr/R romantic stuff, plus, you know, that war they're having.
BIG THANKS to my beta, Tabletop Joe (now, go read his brilliant fic!).
Next chapter is IN THE QUEUE. Thank you for the reviews, emails, and continued support of this story!
Summary: Hermione and Ron are finally getting married. Hermione reflects on the past few years and what she had to do in order to make it to this day.
This is for the August challenge, weddings. I'm Cheshlin, from Slytherin House.
Summary: A fluffy songfic about Ron and Hermione at Bill and Fleur's wedding.
