Hello, fellow Harry Potter fans in cyberspace! :) The Accidental Godmother is my first posted story on Mugglenet and I had an absolute blast writing it!

My name is derived from the Houses of my favorite characters: Ruby (for Gryffindor) and Emeralds (for Slytherin). Even though I am a mere Muggle, I would love to visit Hogwarts. (Who wouldn't?) Once, I took an online sorting quiz and it suggested that I'd be sorted into Hufflepuff because I'm "loyal, hardworking, and dependable." Since then, I've had a new appreciation for the house of Helga. :)

Favorite HP Books: Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, and Order of the Phoenix. Forget Hawthorne and Hemingway...now THIS is literature!!! :)

Favorite HP Quotes: Pretty much anything that came out of Gilderoy Lockhart's mouth, such as these little jewels: "Fame's a fickle friend, Harry," "Celebrity is as celebrity does," and "...I mean, a few people have heard of you, haven't they? All that business with He Who Must Not Be Named! I know, I know, it's not quite as good as winning Witch Weekly's Most-Charming-Smile Award five times in a row, as I have - but it's a start, Harry, it's a start." Oh, that man is a wonderful comic creation! :)

Favorite HP Class: Transfiguration sounds pretty neat to me!
