Hello! *waves* I'm a poor uni student finding ways to amuse herself when I should be writing up my Physics notes (ugh!). I am also the leader of two groups over on the Beta Boards.
Poetry Anyone? I am the resident Poet Laureate over on the Beta Boards as leader of this fun little group. We have monthly challenges all with a Harry Potter twist. You can also find solid and comprehensive critique for any poems and help for all your archive-based concerns.
Susan Bones Book Club. I am the co-leader of this group along with hestiajones. Each month the SBBC chooses two to three fics from the archives to discuss. We also have monthly drabble activities and an incredibly lively chat thread. We accept new members at all times so if your interested go and take a look. If you have any questions or concerns then don't hesitate to PM me or hestiajones.
Summary: It was true that Daphne and Lee had met at a most inappropriate time, but they had found love, lust and the glimmerings of a life together.
But the power of persuasion should never be underestimated. When they meet again, years later, his indifference cuts to her core. Can the past ever truly be recaptured?
This story is a present for Julia (the opaleye) because she is amazingly talented and has inspired me in so many ways. It is also her brthday.
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling.

The nose-bleeding smiley should downplay the pretentiousness a little.
Something has changed in Merope Gaunt, a thrumming of insect wings, a pulse kickstarting to life.
Merope is alone. Penniless, undernourished and pregnant - these are the last three trimesters of her life.
Summary: This is the story of true love. The twists, turns, ups, downs, fights, make ups, and break ups. Follow the trio through their final year at Hogwarts and beyond. Over the course of the summer the unexpected happens and many things change in the lives of many. This is my take on the nineteen years between the end of DH and the Epilogue. H/Hr. Enjoy!
Summary: It's after the war and Voldemort has won, leaving the wizarding world decimated and all those not of pureblood status dubbed less than human. Hermione must find a way to live in a world that no longer wants her, and when Ginny's youngest child Lily is put into danger, she turns to the least likely person for help and sells herself to the Death Eaters in exchange for saving Lily. Darkfic, post Hogwarts, AU.
Summary: Seven months after leaving Hogwarts, James Potter is fighting for the Order of the Phoenix. When Lily Evans joins the resistance, his life is turned upside down. He'd proposed, after all, and she had said no. How could they work together now, after so much history together? Or could they find another chance amidst the war?
Summary: 'Sometimes I catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror or a window, and I do not recognise the face staring back. Even the eyes, which never truly change, seem dulled in comparison to what they once were.
It is not age that dulled them but you, and him, and her, and the myriad of dreams that came to nothing.'
Albus Dumbledore dwells on his life, and love, and the Hogwarts' students he shaped.

Summary: This story is a missing moment from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We know Ron and Hermione descend into the Chamber of Secrets in search of basilisk fangs, and we know they succeed. But what exactly happened down there? This story provides a possible answer to that question. This is WeasleyMom of Hufflepuff writing for the Illustration for Inspiration Challenge in the Great Hall. My inspiration was a drawing done by Carole/EquinoxChick, featuring Hermione's hand stabbing the cup with a basilisk fang. Thanks, Carole! You unknowingly pushed me to write something I've had in my head since DH came out. Thrilled to announce this story tied for third place in the challenge! Holy Hufflepuff! This won a 2012 QSQ Award for Best Canon Romance, one-shot! I am thrilled and so, so grateful!

In her seventh year, Katie Bell knew what it was like to fear death. A year later, she learnt what it was like to see it in front of her. Nothing she had ever experienced had prepared her to deal with the aftermath of that. And then he came.
Caught in a whirlwind of Quidditch, heartbreak, and a rivalry, Katie struggled with her jumbled mess of feelings, one of which she hadn't expected but was growing certain that she could never live without.

Summary: In 1993, Bill Weasley is working on a tomb in Egypt with a team of Magiarchaeologists and Curse-Breakers. It is a job like any other ... or so it seems, until members of the expedition start dying, and Bill has to race against time to figure out what exactly it is that they awakened in the tomb of Mentuhotep, and how it can be stopped before it reaches him.
The following are characters from JKR’s creations: Bill Weasley, Ragnok, Agatha Chubb (QttA), and the last names of Deverill and Pilliwickle. I don’t own them and never will!
