The first thing you should know about me is that I am a Christian. I love God with my whole heart and I am eternally grateful to Him for sending His Son to die for me. If you have a problem with me about this or with Christians in general, feel free to keep your opinions to yourself because I KNOW MY GOD IS REAL AND NOTHING WILL CHANGE HOW I FEEL.
I'm Wes. I'm from the southern region of the US.
I love movies. Especially Hallmark movies. Sap is bomb. :)
I love to read. Among my favorite books (beside Harry Potter) are:
The Note -- Angela Hunt
The Homelanders Series -- Andrew Klavan
A Corner of the Universe -- Ann M Martin
Double Identities -- Margaret Peterson Haddix
The Hunger Games series -- Suzanne Collins
My favorite music is everything from country to Broadway.
My top 5 are probably:
1 Owl City
3 Alison Krauss
4 Brooks and Dunn
5 Kellie Pickler
I have a taste for history, and I can often be found watching educational channels.
I'm a poet, along with being an aspiring novelist.
I will probably never post any fanfiction, but I do greatly enjoy reading it.
This website has helped me make a ton of friends, and learn a lot more about writing.

Minerva knew it was time to leave. She was ready. So why was it so hard to walk out that door? A one-shot moment of transition in one character's life after the war. Why are life's major transitions so challenging, and what is it we really need from each other?

After the First War, wizards and witches everywhere were celebrating. But there were still losses, and deaths to be mourned; and in the end, there were more similarities between the good and the bad guys than one might like to think.
Molly Weasley had two brothers, who fought Voldemort and paid with their lives. She always thought that all what happened was horrible, but she never thought it would happen to her own family. And now, people everywhere are celebrating, and hardly anyone thinks of all the heroes that died anymore.
Avery was a Death Eater. He watched many people suffer and die, and never cared - until his friends die for Voldemort’s cause. And now, people everywhere are celebrating, and no one thinks of all the brave and good men the other side had lost.

This is quite an angsty one-shot - you have been warned!

They fight. They argue. They threaten never to speak again. But in the end, it’s all alright. Because they’re brothers and sisters, or at least that’s what it feels like. James, Albus, and Lily Potter are the closest siblings you’d ever find. Rose and Hugo Weasley have their differences, but in the end, they would die for each other. And as for Scorpius Malfoy… he’s unlike anything the others have seen before. But he’s okay… because he saved them on countless occasions.
This is the story of the bonds between siblings, cousins, and friends. It’s the story of forgetting the past to create a brighter future. And it’s the story of learning to let go of the old, and holding on to the new.

Summary: “You sing to me every night that heaven is somewhere over the rainbow. Granddad told me today, when I asked him, that heaven is after the stars. Everybody tells me that’s where my father is and…I miss him. I wish I could be with him. And if that means being a million light years away from earth, then that’s how far I want to be.”
Harry's family is missing him. A heart-wrenching conversation between Ginny and her fatherless daughter.

The Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters are locked in battle over a highly important magical artifact known to most as Voldy's Deathpants
, in bold letters like that. However, they go about battle in a, er, highly unusual way-- a Quidditch match!
Probably the silliest thing that's ever appeared on this site, featuring highly OOC behaviour.
is a team of writers consisting of Mind_Over_Matter, cmwinters, wendelin the wierd, and Schmerg_The_Impaler. Our story was written in Round Robin format. This (and our deranged minds) explains its randomness. Enjoy!
The insanity of the Deathpants has gotten to the mods! This ridiculous story WON the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Humour Story!
