Summary: What happened between Harry and Ginny during that lakeside stroll after their first kiss? Perhaps they talked of more than just Quidditch...One-Shot
I wrote this for the, Short and Sweet Summer Fic Contest, on pnoenixsong.net. It took fifth place in the contest, and I am posting it here for people to read now.
The story is set in the summer after Harry's fifth year about a week before the return to school. The premise of the contest was to write a short, 3000 words or less, story that involved the sharing of a sweet of some sort between the characters in the story. The sweet could be Muggle or Magical. This is what I came up with.
Summary: "That is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities". So said Professor Dumbledore. Rated "R" for later chapters, but it's all innocent at the beginning... haha, famous last words.
I can't stress enough that you might want to read "The Mystery Letter" before continuing on to this fic. You should be able to follow without it- but it will certainly clear up some things in the process. Thanks for reading!!
Summary: Inspired by the song by the Verve. There's a masked ball, and Ginny's going with the man of her dreams, or so she thinks. But who's the man in the white mask, and why is she willing to follow him to a place she's never been before? Warning, it is a bit long, but is worth it! As always, I *heart* reviewers!!
