I'm a 17-year old girl living in the Bronx, New York. I only write for James/Lily because I love the pairing (unresolved sexual tension, anyone?) and because Harry annoys me as a character.
In all my fics, you can count on these: Remus is not Remy, his lycanthropy is a serious issue, Peter is not a useless idiot that is randomly sucked into the Death Eaters- in fact, I believe he only converted after graduation. Lily, as stated by JKR, is a popular girl who, like Ginny, has been with many guys, and James has been dating other people- seriously, you can't expect him to hold out for her and only her for seven years, can you?
Like at my school, Hogwarts is a hormone-filled place, so it's unlikely that any of Gryffindor's popular kids (the Marauders and Lily's group) are blushing virgins. I don't include drug use, because drugs make people useless, though there may be some underage drinking, swearing, etcetera. There will be no balls/dances.
I know it's a little too convenient that Lily's friends mostly turn up in the Order of the Pheonix, but that's who her friends would be. If you'd noticed, Hogwarts is also quite a bit more multicultural, and certainly less black-and-white. I generally try to make the stories canon-compliant, unless I explicitly say so.
I love: LotR, PotC, adventure movies, most things involving Orlando Bloom and/or Keira Knightley. I'm an Anglophile, for sure. I apologize for my use of (what I know of) British slang.

"And if for some unknown reason you come across this, Potter, and the paragraph above does not manage to penetrate your unusually thick head and convince you of my stupendous dislike of you, I hope the following sentence helps: I HATE YOU!"

In the dictionary, “diatribe” is defined as “a bitter, abusive attack or criticism.” In other words, a sharp blow. And living around self-centred James Potter brings one blow after another. Unfortunately for Lily Evans, it’s his annoying, egotistical attitude that she finds most attractive.
Rated 6th-7th years for language and some sexuality.
