O great and powerful mods, please do not delete this humble account~ there is a problem with the submission form, if you must know.
PLEASE DO NOT DELETE!

Alright, let's get the boring stuff out of the way. My name is Rowen, and I belong in Harry Potter rehab, if there was such a thing. I am infatuated with the REAL Marauders (Peter is SUCH a fanboy, I can't stand him!), Lupin especially. :-) I aspire to be an author or a journalist someday, so I guess that writing fan fiction is a good place to start. Out of all the quizzes I've taken, only two haven't said that I wouldn't be in Gryffindor. I'm a feminist, idealist, vegetarian, anti-lookist/anti-sexist, and an athlete. To end my spiel, I have this free-verse poem:
To fight for justice, unselfishly, to not look back upon failure, to give everything and ask for nothing in return. Unyielding courage, unstoppable truth, sheer willpower, loving-kindness, equality and fairness. Upon these, the human race is built. When these are attacked, we must defend them. For if we do not who will?
Peace out~
Rowen

MOMENTS OF BLISS by moonymaniac

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 1212 Reviews
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.

Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.

*DH spoilers, obviously*

NOTE: I am sorry, but I have left this site, due to lack of time and personal issues concerning RL and the site. This story is discontinued here, but may well be posted elsewhere in the future.

Kickin' It at the Top by Soap

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 820 Reviews
Summary: A Marauder-era fic - this story takes a look at all the characters we've come to love (and hate), as well as an OC or two thrown in for good measure. Follow the Marauders through seven years at Hogwart's, with appearances from the infamous Black sisters, Lucius Malfoy, Regulus Black, and of course the one and only Severus Snape.

There are a bunch of pairings in this story (although romance is not necessarily the central theme) to include James/Lily, Lucius/Narcissa, a splash of Lucius/Bella and unrequited Snape/Lily, and finally, plenty of Sirius/OC. Enjoy!

Over 120,000 reads! Wow! Thanks everyone!

A Little More Time by Pallas

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not by Everlasting

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 36 Reviews
Summary: Just a quick one-shot about Remus being unsure of his love for Sirius. But is it the love itself or the uncertainty of Sirius' that's making him feel this way? Slightly fluffy. One-shot.

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 1355 Reviews Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!

The Second by Slian Martreb

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 14 Reviews
Summary: Per Sirius: Until of course the first full moon after that in which the lot of us woke up at the crack of dawn sort of sprawled in our usual spots around the Shack, except for me and Remus, who had in fact ended up in a sort of tangle. I didn't kiss him until the wolf was entirely gone, you understand, but I don't think anyone had ever been that close when he came out of a moon and was back in his right mind and yeah. Bloody hell. Toes. Curled. James threw a shoe at my head and threatened the hose. Bah. He was just jealous.
