Wait for the guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will stay awake just to watch you sleep.

Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world in your sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends.

Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares, and how lucky he is to have you.

Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her."

-A Chain Email

Isn't it ironic?
We ignore who adores us,
Adore who ignores us,
Love who hurts us, and
Hurt who loves us.

“A wise girl kisses but doesn’t love,
Listens but doesn’t believe,
And leaves before she is left.”
--Marilyn Monroe

Some say holding on is what makes you strong,
But sometimes is takes more strength to just
Let. Go.

"Imperfection is beauty,
Madness is genius,
And it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous
Than absolutely boring."
--Marilyn Monroe

Between laughing for no reason,
Stupid argument,
Long talks,
And making fun of each other...
I fell in love with you.

If you can’t get someone out of your head,
Maybe they’re supposed to be there.

Someday,
Someone will walk into your life.
And you will realize why it never worked out
With anyone else.

You’ll never know
How strong you are
Until being strong
Is the only choice you have.

Just when you think things can’t get any worse,
They do.
I’ve learned life is like an hour glass,
And when things hit rock bottom,
You just have to wait for it to be turned around again.

Just because she comes off strong
Doesn’t mean she didn’t fall asleep crying
And even though she acts like everything’s fine
Maybe,
Just maybe,
She’s really good at lying.

In the end,
Everything will be okay.
And if it’s not,
It’s not the end.

Sometimes you just need to be
With the person who makes you smile
Even if it means waiting.

Fav. Books: Harry Potter series (duh!), Sarah Dessen books, anything Jane Austen.
Other Random Info: I LOVE anything to do with Harry Potter. I'm on my school's freshmen track team as a sprinter, reading almost anything, and writing. My stuff is posted on Unknowableroom.org, but I come to Mugglenet to read :) I love NHL hockey (PITTSBURGH PENGUINS!!!), Barack Obama, and I'm crazy about music--just not the poppy stuff. Give me some Nirvana and Foo Fighters and I'm in a happy place.

*Quote from The Epilogue*

Suddenly Harry was kissing her as if he couldn’t resist the temptation. There was a kind of frenzy to the kiss at first, a kind of desperate need, but it melted into something soft and sweet and gentle, a promise of a future when kisses would never be limited. When they broke apart he rested his forehead on hers, sprinkling a few affectionate butterfly kisses across her face. “I love you,” he murmured.

Love Conquers by dumbly_dorr

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 321 Reviews
Summary: If you're looking for the usual James-loves-Lily-but-Lily-hates-James storyline, then this isn't it. The thing is, Lily doesn't hate James at all, he can just be annoying at the best of times. As she comes to realise why she doesn't hate him, it leads to the famous love we all know about. Set against the backdrop of a warring magical world where nothing is certain, can James and Lily hold onto each other and fight?

UPDATE August 08: It's FINISHED! Thank you so much to all those who have read and reviewed this story, I have loved your support. i hope there are still people out there who are willing to read it. Keep an eye out for more stories by me! UPDATE February '08: I have changed the chapter names of some of the 'Defied' chapters, to make this fit and to make it more plausible, as I see the 'thrice defying' of Voldemort as happening when James and Lily are part of the Order of the Phoenix.

UPDATE 20th September: I have altered my facts in the chapter 'Once Defied' as I made mistakes in the ages of James and Lily. It didn't matter so much in this chapter but had annoying repercusions for future chapters. It should all now be correct.

Fuzzy Elfin Dilemmas by KritchMis

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • 12 Reviews
Summary: “Hell -- Oomph! Ouch. Sorry, Sirius decided it’d be fun to trip me.”

“I did not!”

“Oh don’t deny it Sirius, I saw you too. Hello there! You’re here to read, aren’t you? Isn’t that great Remus? Remus?”

“Wha – Oh yes, lovely… So sorry, love, but what are you talking about?”

“You’d think being a werewolf, you could hear twice as good as the normal wizard.”

“Anna! Keep it down!”

“But why, Remus? Everyone’s going to find out once they read Fuzzy Elfin Dilemmas, and then, why would you care?”

“You three are completely ignoring the company. How rude. Don’t mind them, they’ve got the manners of a teaspoon, I tell you.”

The other three sigh as one at Sirius.

“You’ll really like this story. It’s better than my daddy’s, but shhhh, don’t tell him I said that.”

“It’s about a werewolf community, us four and Time-Turners.”

“That hardly says anything at all, you two!”

“We’re sent on a mission of spying on a community I already knew well. Yes, I am a werewolf –“

“Harmless though, I tell you!”

“Those two have a project through the Department of Mysteries –“

“It’s great fun working there.”

“Nat, enough. We’re supposed to figure out how to finish the Time-Turners. Unofficially of course.”

“We’ve got to go…Happy reading!”

“NAT!”

This is a story written by Mistletoe (Kat) and myself using our OC's (Natalie Carmen and Anna Boothe), Remus and Sirius. These four are an unlikely group for a mission, but that's indeed what happens. Sent on a whirlwind journey by the Order of the Phoenix and uncomfortable with each other, they're a little lost in the forests of Wales. Where exactly do werewolves and Time-Turners come into the mix? It involves mystery and intrigue, some adventure and fears, a smidgen of flirting and quite a bit of silliness.
