James Potter has just informed his fellow Marauders that Lily Evans finally agreed to go out with him. His best friend Sirius Black is feeling rather evil and naughty and cooks up a scheme to follow James and Lily under the invisibility cloak on their first date for pure Marauder fun. He convinces Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew to join him. But things don't go as planned and much chaos and unexpected events unfold...
The title was inspired by Fall Out Boy's album title, From Under the Cork Tree

Ronald Weasley struggles with his teaspoon's worth of emotions during Hermione's stay at the Burrow summer after fifth year. With the Twins succumbing the household to spontaneous product trials, and a new Minister of Magic, one would think that Hermione's Bulgarian pen pal would be the least of Ron's problems.
And that would be what one would get for thinking.
Surprises abound (the Good and the Bad) assure the Weasleys and their house guest this will be a summer all but one of them will never forget.
Final chapter is in queue. Wow, that took forever, didn't it?

First Kiss fanfics usually dissapoint me. They portray Ron as a cocky little Romeo and Hermione as a I-just-got-back-from-holiday-and-now-I-am-so-hot! girl. So I wrote an alternative. The way I think a Ron/Hermione first kiss fanfic should be written.
Please read and review...all reviews will be responded to!!!!

Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.
