Hi, i'm Hannah, i'm 18 and i live in England. I am also working on a couple of stories but i get distracted too easily and i refuse to put them online without having a couple of chapters done first - i keep moving on to new stories (i'm very fickle)

I really love reading HP fanfic (obviously)

Hates: Americanisation of Harry Potter in fanfic - i am aware that american writers don't know everything about english life but, for the record, we do not say 'tardy' it's 'late', if using muggle money it is pounds (or quid if you need another word for it) and we do not have notes or 'bills' for small sums of money so saying they handed over a few notes actually equals quite a lote of money and we do not have snickerdoodles (you'd be suprised how much this comes up)

i am aware that i sound like i hate americans - i don't - it's just that i've recently read a lot of HP fanfic which is very, very americanised and it annoys me because it detracts so much from the world JK Rowling has created - i would imagine that english people notice this more than americans.

My favourite characters are Sirius, Fred and George and i always maintained that Snape was good (and i'm not just saying that), i also respect Ginny a great deal for putting up with so many older brothers - i can hardly cope with two.

For some time i secretly wished that Harry really would run away and stop just thinking about it - he sometimes moaned too much for me and i just wanted to yell 'stop moping and do something about it already!' - can you tell i'm really unsympathetic and impatient?

i also cried like a baby when Sirius and Dobby died and was in too much shock when Lupin and Fred died to do anything

i don't understand people who don't like Harry Potter (especially those who don't even bother reading them)

And i really don't like people who only watch the films and think that they are truly like the books.

and incase you havn't noticed already, i love to rant - it just flows out of me naturally
