I didn't get into the "fandom" until the fourth book was out. I was ten when i got into it. I haven't been able to leave since. My only story is pretty pathetic and i dont think i will be adding to it. I am writing a fic write now called Someday. It includes me and one of my friends. The ships start out as Hermione/Ron Kat/Draco and Harry/Ginny. Everyone is trying to make other people jealous except for Ginny. She is just going along. The ships then shift to Jasmine(my friend)/Ron and Harry is single but Kat is stll with Draco. The final couples are Hermione/Draco, Jasmine/Ron and Kat/Harry. They stay like that for a while.
