And now for some poetry to bore you:

Shed a tear
Let it trickle down your face

It tastes salty and warm
As it reaches your dry, cracked lips

Heart beats faster
Let it pound in your chest

It feels like it is being ripped out
As you run a little bit faster

Cry out in anguish
Let a scream escape your mouth

It sounds angry and bitter
As you think of all the pain

Watch what’s ahead
Let your eyes lead you on

It looks bleak and mysterious
As you peer into the darkness

Listen to the cries for help
Let your heart hear them

It sounds pitiful and scared
As you run away from you fears


And one more:

Writhing in pain
The icy grip of death inching closer

Vacant eyes
Face contortioned from the poison kiss

Is death what you want?
In a most bittersweet way?

A poisonous kiss from a forgotten lover
On a morbid anniversary day

The wedding bells were to chime,
But now they are silent and still

Another poisonous kiss,
Another life taken from someone else’s eyes
