I just wanted to stop by and say again how very much I enjoyed this story. It offers an astounding backdrop for the real series, and the ending is spectacular! You truly are a wonderful author and I hope you continue writing for a long time to come!
Wow. That was awesome! Congratulations on writing such a BRILLIANT fic! I loved the whole thing. This is the perfect marauder fic. Siriusly! (I can picture Moony rolling his eyes now) It had pranks, jokes, and an adventure and even some darkness! It was absolutely amazing. Well done! I've told all of my friends to read it. I thought this bit was so funny:
Lily and Peter blinked at Remus. "Are you serious?" Lily exclaimed.
"No," Remus said and pointed to Sirius. "He is."
This broke Sirius from his daze. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" he cried, jumping from his seat.
Ha ha ha. I was nearly crying though at the end. It was so sad, with them all leaving Hogwarts forever (well, not Remus, he returns as a teacher years later, but they didn't know that). Especialy that line at the end, where James is dying. This is among the best fics I have ever read, and probably the best Marauder one. It's going straight into my favourites. So, yeah, well done. You are a siriusly talented writer!
That was wonderful. I just finished reading the entire story. It was awesome! I loved Sirius in it. *Hugs Padfoot* The whole last "maraudering" and leaving and stuff... it was so sad. And even more sad when you realize that Peter betrays them, James, Lily and Sirius all die and Remus is all alone. :-(
Oh my gosh this chapter scared me to bits! At first i realy thought that someone had died, then when it said that Alice had died i knew that it couldn't be real, because she's got to marry Frank. But i still didn't know what was going on. Great chapter, it was brillinat. The whole atmosphere you created was amazing. Well done!!
I just finished reading the story and I am awed! I actually started crying at the end. You captured the Marauders to perfection and you gave James and Lilly a wonderful story. I could definitely feel Harry through both of them.
It would have been great to have a chapter, or more bits about the Snape infatuation. Maybe you plan to write more. I hope so! I definitely think you should continue the saga up until the beginning of Sorcerer's/Philosipher's Stone.
Great writing! I can't wait for another story from you.
Id have to say that out of all the Fics ive read on this site this is by far the best one, thank you for writing such and instresting story n im going 2 start reading your sequel
I really like sirius back then its so funny how hes just a ladies man, and i love how Lily and James finally speak to eachother, and everything its really good
Really love how you use JK's maurders in this story, i love a story about how it was back in the old days, i think it makes JK's world so much better, and u do a wonderful job at doing it.
I really like this version of the maurders much better than any other on this site, your very good at describing them, and giving it a plot line, and the thickness of the hatred between Snape and the rest just makes the story very instresting
oh. my. gosh. how in the world do u even do this? u're just amazing! i luv this story and Sirius... cant find words 2 tell u how wonderful u shaped him. i hd 2 stifle my laughter abt a million times and finally i cracked much 2 the dismay of my father! continue writing like this!
*sob* it was very good, ur good at goodbyes, if my brother wasnt here now, i would have been crying my eyes off *sniff*
anyway, it was wonderful.
Though your stories is better out of almost all I've ever read, I will not cover you with praises, but with one small fact. Only with the Harry Potter series do I get a feeling of leaving a beloved friend at the end of a tale, but your story changed that. It truly moved me, and it will be truly unforgettable. Thanks
ok i read this all in one shot and it's an amasing story you wrote. i love all the twistes and jokes that it takes and includes. i can't wait to read the sequal
Author's Response: all in one shot? god bless you, child. and thanks for reading!!
this is by far the most touching fanfic i have ever read, i'm in tears, btw. you ended it loverly
Author's Response: oh thank you, tamuggle! you are too kind! and your name is impossibly clever!
I thought James was chaser.
Author's Response: yeah. i wrote this a while back and didn't feel like changing it. For every mention of James' Quidditch, we suddenly switch to movie-verse. oh well. hopefully that's the only non-canonical occurence and if so, please forgive me?
I absolutely love this fic. It's one of the best i have read. Completely amazing.
Author's Response: thank you so much - and might i say that i feel terribly bad for you, being the sister of sirius and all. i'd kill myself if i was his sister (rather'd be his love interest :) )
that's just awesome. really. worthy of jkrowlings writing.
Author's Response: you compliment me far too highly, but i humbly thank you :)
Nice chapter but I'm sorry to tell you I spotted another counting mistake ;) If the 29th of September is a full moon, the next one will be on 27th of October instead of 31st, as there is exactly one full moon every 4 weeks. You might change the first date to 3rd of October as the Halloween night should stay ^^
Author's Response: sounds good. for a little bit i tried to keep a good calendar of events, but i got either distracted, bored, or caught up in what i was doing to not care. In the other story, I usually strategically leave out the precise dates to avoid these confusions.
Congratulation! This is the best Marauder fic I've ever read, if not the best general fic even :) Especially the flash-back to the past were awesome. I'm already looking forward to read te sequel and uncover all the foreshadowing you did in this one.
Author's Response: haha thank you, not least of which is finding all of my attempted foreshadowing! perhaps im not a failure after all
