I'm in love...with this story! It's got just the right touches of humor and everything! 9/10. (Sorry, I don't usually give tens.)
I love this story now! Except that no staff member at Hogwarts would ever put a contraction in a letter. Not to students, anyway. It'd be too "personal."

Wow. I'm just totally bonding with this Lily right now; her attitude towards boys and relationships perfectly reflect my own!
You introduced too many characters in too short a passage. That gave me the feeling that information was being forced on me too fast for my brain to handle. I kept going back to check who was who in the story. Also, I felt that all of the characters except Leah were too Mary Sue; instead of starting off with how beautiful they were, just go straight into the character and how it shapes/shaped their habits and ways of speaking, how it contrasts with their physical characteristics, etc.
I love this quote: “Hearts will never be made practical until they are made unbreakable.” Where is it from?
Overall, excellent opening chapter! I look forward to the next one.

i remember reading this story a while ago. i dint remember if i reviewed but it was still called this lullaby. i read that book, it was awesome, i loved how ya kinda morphed that story to james and lily. pretty similar. amazing story. (your ans sarah dessen, i loveeee her stories!)
