I really enjoyed this story. It was a good idea although at the start I had no idea what it was about. In the beginning you said it was in the 20s and Harry came out of his tent onto the beach. You must have meant Celsius. I was thinking of Fahrenheit and wondering how Harry could be on the beach in such cold weather. I can't believe Ginny deliberately ran into him. It was a sobering moment when everyone saw Harry's scars but he made a joke of it.

i intended the start to show that Harry and Ginny are a happy couple, but not yet married. As for my use of Celcius, I'm sure that the USA (along with Myanmar (formerly Burma) and Liberia) will eventually catch up with every other nation on the planet. :-D
Ginny plays Quidditch professionally, and Harry is a mere amateur. JKR has mentioned that the Seeker is the most fouled player on the pitch. Ginny explained why she did it.

An interesting idea, to have Harry playing with and against professional Quidditch players. We tend to think of him as the boy wonder of Quidditch because of his youthful start on the Gryffindor team, but he did not actually play for several of his school years, and you remind us that the caliber of school-yard play is less than that of the professional leagues. And the unique setting makes this game less ho-hum than many of the other games we've read about.

Thanks for noting the 10th anniversary of MNFF. It deserved to be mentioned somewhere. I enjoyed your story.

A reviewer on another site wasn't happy about which side won, so I'm glad you can see my reasoning. Even if Harry is a good amateur, he's likely to be a little out of his depth against professionals. He missed at least one (possibly two) of the three games in his sixth year, and didn't play at all in his seventh. At the time I've set this story he's a few days shy of his 22nd birthday.

Great story, poor Harry torn apart by Harpies, well not quite!

Author's Response: Great line, I wish I'd thought of using it in my blurb. Perhaps I will. -N-

Great anniversary story! (I thought you were going to let Harry win for a while then!!)

I loved the idea of the Harpies letting Harry play (still not sure Gwengog would have allowed it :P) and Harry playing against Ginny is a great idea. The characterisation of Ginny fouling Harry and his being shocked, is perfect as well.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
Desperate times for the Harpies lead to unusual compromises. And think of the publicity they'll get. . I'm certain that Ginny will be able to make it up with Harry.
