Who is she? I cannot remember who Oliver Wood was matched up with...
Oh, it's marvelous!
Could Wood actually want the Quidditch cup that much? Yes. That Way? Well, what way is it, really - and I've never been a boy, so what do I know. Seems plausible, particularly if he's not attached to or pining for a particular actual female.
As for Marcus Flint - he seems exactly the sort of person to blame someone else for his problems of any sort - the way he blames Oliver is hilarious, but he is a bad bet as any sort of partner, sexual or otherwise, based on his inability to take any sort of responsibility for himself - or care that Jones now hates him for one or more of the many things which could be inferred from the story...
I think the usual probably happened in this story. We look at other people with love in mind but it doesn't always work out. I think I've spent a good portion of my life looking at the other side and thinking the grass is greener over there--away from here. My marriage wasn't like that but other times were. Anyway, my only complaint about this story is that I wish there was more.
Hahahhahahaah - for one moment, I thought Oliver had a crush on Charity Burbage - which he totally has, you know that - or maybe it's Cedric. I dunno, I've forgotten my own canon.
Very crude, lewd and rude, and hilarious!
You know Oliver will always be in love with Quidditch. And what's a nice boy like Marcus to do against such a divine mistress? He seems to have figured it out all right. XD
Thanks for stopping in, as well as for the TTB prompt that led me to write it.
Well, definitely an odd set of pairings. Worth read.
I'll admit, I was thinking of pairing Oliver with someone other than the Quidditch Cup, but it just didn't quite work as well. So here we are...Marcus/Oliver/Trophy love triangle. *snicker*
Thanks for reading!
