Chapter: Epilogue: One Year Later

Awwww.... it's not over is it?! Thanks for writing this last chapter though. Some authors tend to end really too prematurely and it's not because we readers want happy ever afters to really be happy ever afters! This can do with a little more drawing out, but better this than ending in the last chapter! :D

That was a wonderful happy ending. I loved that Draco and Astoria were sensitive enough to Scorpius' and Rose's feelings to give them the toy brooms outside so they could decide what to do about them. The whole family seems to be getting along very well. Great story.

Good ending. Perhaps we will hear more of the twins?

That was a lovely apology that Draco offered both Ron and Hermione. The chess playing was fun also. I loved the baby names that Rose picked out. I liked that you didn't focus on the "horror" of childbirth but on the two families reconciling.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Yes, I wanted this to be a story of redemption and rebirth, and the birth of the babies seemed a way for that to happen. I know lots of stories picture Ron as not ever being reconciled with Draco or picture Draco as not ever being sorry for what he had done, but I like to think that we all can grow and learn from our mistakes. Your review was especially meaningful to me because it showed that the focus of the story I had tried to have really worked. Thanks for reading!

Wow that was great. The Malfoy grandchildren will be born in Malfoy Manor. Husband and (hopefully) both sets of grandparents will be there. It's all come full circle. Rose knows that Draco doesn't hate her. What more could I ask on this wonderful morning except more please.

What a precious chapter. That all sounds too familiar. I remember when I was in labor with our first baby that my husband was holding my hand but he was holding it too tight. He didn't understand that he should lighten up his grasp so I leaned over and bit him. Even though we're divorced, I'll bet he'd still tell you that story:D

I like the name Gemini. When my husband and I named our children it didn't seem like such a big deal. I guess we must have been on the same wavelength. I'm still getting a kick out of the grandparents.

Not only do I love your Rose and Scorpius. I think they may be real people.

Author's Response: Haha…not entirely. But they did sort of become real to me while I was writing this story!

The dads were funny but I still like the mums. They seemed to accept reality and move on to more important issues--Astoria with humor and trying to make the young couple comfortable and Hermione with a sense of planning.

Author's Response: I always thought Hermione would be more able to deal with and move on from what happened during the war--maybe partly because Ron lost so much more than she did. The same would make sense for Draco and Astoria, I think. I think Ron and Draco would have had some regrets that Astoria and Hermione might not.

I read this again to refresh my memory. I really liked the fact that you had Scorpius take Muggle chemistry classes to add to his Potions knowledge. I loved it when you had him pull out parchment and quill to diagram the "recipe."

When the babies get here there will be no problems from the grand parents. They will expand all their energy on who gets to baby sit. Grandchildren are great (except they wreck the place) and you get to give them back when you are knackeresd.
