Gosh, I almost burst into tears. It's nice to know that a grandma like myself can still be moved to tears by news of a new baby.

Author's Response: Thanks. Tears are good.

Highly emotional, wonderful and simly genius. Love it!! I sometimes wish you'd concentrate more on Ron and Hermione, but I enjoy the Potters and the Moons so much in the end I just hope you'll write something, anything at all.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
Sometimes I think I should write more about Ron and Hermione, too. It’s not that I don’t have the ideas; it’s simply finding the time. I’ll see what I can do, but in the short term you’ll have to make do with a H/G&R/H one-shot.

Trust the mother to get it suddenly. Great fic! I just love fluff!~Nidhi

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
This story is fluff, but if I write more on Hermione’s pregnancy, it’s unlikely to be fluffy.

This was very. very good. I love George's characterization and everything about this piece eminates Ron and Hermione's essence perfectly.

Looking forward to more of any story! :)

Glad you liked it. Among other things I’m working on some stuff for the One-Shot Triathlon 2012

To fluff or not to fluff, that is the question. ;) I think you once told me in a review that fluflf could have substance, and this really does. I'm sure all of us Romione writers have our own ideas of how these things might have gone down, but we have a bit in common here. I, too, imagine they had to try for a while before getting pregnant, and I think the emotional response you gave to both Ron and Hermione show that well. This was a nice read, Neil. I will have to look up your first piece in this series in the next few days.

Oh, I liked that George commented on Ron talking like Hermione. As soon as I read his line, I was thinking how it didn't sound like him at all... nice idea to include that bit.

Author's Response: Lori, thank you. :-)
I must be an old softie, as I’m finding myself writing more and more fluff. I’ve no doubt that Ron and Hermione started trying for a baby before Harry and Ginny did. Sometimes it simply doesn’t happen for a very long time and then, unexpectedly, it does.
I know that I’ve picked up several words and phrases from my missus (mostly Yorkshire slang). Ron was simply repeating what Hermione had said verbatim, and George knew it.

Wonderful, plain and simple. Yet another great addition to your opus, which is like a telescope slowly coming into focus - you've given us bits and pieces all along the life-spans of the main characters, and it's a joy to follow along as you fill the gaps in!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I really can’t believe how small a part Hermione’s parents have played in my stories, it wasn’t until I wrote this that I realised how little I’d written about them. They will be making a lot more appearances in other stories about Hermione’s pregnancy.

*In response*
I would say so but then again I am a hopeless romantic begging for the sweet indulgence of a story written from love at first sight to tragically heartwarming sacrifices and everything in between.
It is your call though. ;)

Author's Response: My plan (such as it is) is to get something finished (and at the moment, that something is Hunters and Prey) before I start another novel-length story. Of fcourse, by calling this a "series of one-shots" I can keep writing these and not break that rule *sigh*. I know what I want to be next in this series, and it will need research. -N-

Why not write a full story? My curiosity for this story is brimming to the edge of a category 5 brainstorm.

Author's Response: Why not? Simply because I have so many unfinished stories, and the idea of writing a series of pregnancy-related one-shots seemed to me to be an easier option. I'm wrong, aren't I? -N-

I want to read the third right now.
Loved. Your interactions and reactions are so effortlessly natural.

Author's Response: Thank you. Unfortunately the third is the barest of ideas at the moment, sorry. -N-

Typical Hermione! :) I loved how you characterized both George and Hermione! Ron seemed really mature! Although, I did like how he opened the door the office with his wand! I really enjoyed it!

Author's Response: Thanks.
In my opinion Ron matured very rapidly in DH. His abandoning his friends was the catalyst. Malfoy Manor confirmed his feelings for Hermione, and the battle forced him to grow up. But he's still not afraid of using magic to shortcut things.

This was so cute! :D I loved the part where George thought that Angelina would actually want to give Fred to Ron. The part with the Grangers was perfect. I can completely imagine Hermione and her mother bursting into tears while their husbands just stood staring at each other and smiling. Great job!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
Doesn't every parent, think "can we give him away?" even fleetingly in the middle of the night. Hermione does tend to get very emotional.
