Tasty caramel or hard to chew caramel?
I love the metaphor, and how it perfectly describes his personality and appearance! Teehee! I really found myself liking the structure, too! I do not have the guts to do so, but way to go! It totally worked. :)

Author's Response: Thank you!!! I really should mention here that Natalie was a huge inspiration here for showing a different way to write these metaphor poems. I seldom write Harry (or the other members of the Trio) so it was great to get my teeth into somehing solely about him. You really should have a go at this form. It's a lot of fun (believe me I'm terrified whenever Julia posts a challenge) Thanks again ~Carole~

This was so well-written! I loved the last stanza. It was so bright and hopeful that I smiled really widely. I love how he was still askew, though

Author's Response: Thank you! Harry's always going to have a part inside him that will challenge authority - even when he is the authority - and he has a quirky side so I think he'd stay slightly askew as well. :) Carole

Wow. That was...deep. *Gawks at the screen, completely unsure of what to say*

Author's Response: Awwww, thank you. It was all Julia's fault (she's the opaleye and runs Poetry Anyone) because she gives us some great challenges. (You will probably like The Luna Chart by hestiajones if you liked this) Thanks again ~Carole~

This poem is such a beautiful perfection. I love the bombarding of images upon images and how they sum up Harry so fluently. Good luck!

Author's Response: Oh, expecto, how I love thee. Your very name is poetry.

Thank you very much for the review. It's always a relief when the first one turns up. ~Croll~
