I LOVE THIS STORY!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you update soon, because I need to know what happens next! I especially loved that Snape really cares about his daughters, and also that Violet is so humble. Perhaps Snape was too harsh on her, but part of what he said does hold true- we can't live in a bubble all the time. I hope, though, that Violet stays like she is, but perhaps a little more outgoing. She is such a great character! :)

Even though everything that I'm writing is non-canon and AU, I truly believe that Snape would be an effective parent - he is disciplined, loyal, and has made so many mistakes in his earlier life that he would really be able to listen to, identify with, and advise others on their problems. He may not be cuddly, but I think that he would be able to instill values in children. I've really enjoyed reading the comments that my readers have made regarding his parenting abilites and interactions with the girls. I think that, even though his message might've been rather harshly stated, he was correct in speaking to Violet about her extreme shyness. If anyone could understand what she's feeling, it would be him. Like so many of my readers, I really enjoy the tender moments that Severus and Violet share. Rest assured that Violet isn't going to undergo a dramatic personality change in the upcoming chapters - I think she is perfect the way she is (although she does need to have more confidence in herself). I am happy to report that the new chapter is posted. (Yay!) I can't wait to hear your thoughts about it! I couldn't help but laugh when the subject of grandchildren came up, Snape seemed so horrified! It was good to see Snape confronting Violet about her shyness as well. He obviously doesn't want her to make the same mistakes he did. I'm quite sad that things are coming to an end for the "Accidental" series, but I'm excited and curious for what you'll be writing next!
