In Harry Potter, Peter betrayed his friends because he was unwilling to sacrifice himself. Here he is betraying because his family is threatened, similar to what Luna's father did.

Poor Peter, ever the weak one. One wonders why he didn't mention to anyone that he was being threatened.
I like the interaction of James and Vanessa. Were it not that you had put so many hint as to how James and Lily feel about each other, I could completely satisfied with this relationship.
Caradoc and Lily don't seem to have the honesty needed to be a couple. Right now Lily is holding back because she wants James to live up to her better expectations, (but she won't admit it)

When I was reading this a second time, I wondered if Lanwick had an encounter with a werewolf that would explain her feelings.
I am curious if there might be a more rational explanation as to why Lanwick thinks Muggleborns don't get wizarding society other than just prejudice.

I just realized that I hadn't reviewed this chapter yet! Sorry! Anywho... this chapter was sooo great! I don't want Lily to be hurt by Vanessa, but I can't wait for her to out of the way so James and Lily can get together! I love the way you have written her character but I really love James and Lily together. :) And Belby! As soon as I began reading the scene I knew that James had brought the only person who could help Lily and I got so excited!! You are one of my all time favorite authors and I adore this story. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to read more!
