Chapter: Chapter Two/The Magical Stranger

Hi Sarah!

It’s a shame you haven’t continued this fics as I enjoyed the two existing chapters and would very much like to know what comes next.

You have a great beginning. It immediately drew me in, and set up an intriguing atmosphere. You did this at the beginning of chapter two, as well, and it was very effective. It also brought up a lot of questions, which makes me want to know more!

I also enjoyed the world building and the way you worked Indian culture into it. For something I am not completely familiar with, it was enjoyable to read and let the world unfold before me. You were also very visual with your writing – I could really see and feel the world in which Padma and Parvati were moving. Also, it still felt inherently part of the Potterverse, despite the different setting. I love that you gave another name for the Wizarding community.

Padma and Parvati felt very sister-ish :) I’ve spent many hours searching through my sisters wardrobe trying to find a top or a dress or shoes, so I really loved that dynamic ha. I haven’t read many Patil fics but the few I’ve read always offer something different than the last, and you certainly did.

Since it’s unfinished, I can’t really say much about the holes left in the plot. There is one instance of an error: and pushed passed Padma in which ‘passed’ should be ‘past’. That’s all I really have to call you out on, though, because otherwise this is an intriguing fic that I wish I could finish!

I hope one day you are able to finish it :)

Julia.

Chapter: Chapter Two/The Magical Stranger

So this was different. I generally don't read stories about the patil twins but I am glad I started reading this one.
Its very well written and I can't wait to read how you would develop the story it has a lot of potential.
I hope you update soon.

Author's Response: I'm glad you like it! I think anything with the Patil twins would count as different... they aren't really seen very much in the books or in fanfiction. I'm hoping to update very soon too! I'm in the middle of writing the third chapter and it shouldn't be much longer :) Keep checking!

Chapter: Chapter One/Predictions and Portkeys

and by the way.....the story is so different (awesome)!!!!

Author's Response: Hey, I'm not too sure about the Aatya/mama... I get everything translated by one of my beta's who lives in India! I'll have to ask her and get back to you :) I'm glad you like that it's different! Thanks for the review!
