Chapter: Chapter 37 - Back to the Burrow

Good story! I nearly cried in the George part, take that as a compliment! I also love how Kreacher was sad about Dobby dying and Dobby and Winky's child! And poor Dennis! I also liked how Malfoy stood, I wouldn't have thought of that. I was, however, surprised that Ginny was crying. I loved the part when Fleur was pregnant! Also great job with Petunia and the Dursleys. Great story!!

This is a really lovely ending, it's bittersweet and flows really well with the book. A nice touch with Petunia at the end, it added depth to the character, I loved it!

That was sad but helped fill up the emptiness at the end of the books...:)

This is one of my favorite stories. You really got the characters right. I'm really glad to see a happy ending for George, and everyone. The ceremony to honor everyone was sweet, and I loved it. Great Job. :)

Author's Response: Thank you for your review. I'm glad I managed to do everyone justice. The ending of DH was very unsettling for me when I first read it years ago (as I'm sure it was for many people) and I actually remember first writing this piece as soon as I finished the book. What can I say, it was a cathartic experience :) Thanks for reading!

Nice story. It's true, what you says, that it 'ties up loose ends.' Good job.

Author's Response: Thanks for saying that! I appreciate it :)

This story is wonderful. You tied up so many loose ends---Kreacher, the Dursleys, Andromeda & Teddy. And your portrayal of George was so in character.

I think that if J.K. had tied DH up this nicely, there would be a lot less fan fiction. Because there would have been less left to the imagination.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading. I agree with you in the sense that Rowling gave fan-fiction writers plenty of opportunity to write about the series. It's one of the reasons why I find the Marauder era (the years of Lily and James Potter's lives) so intriguing. Thanks for your review :)

I liked that very much. It was very nice, sort of relieving.
I REALLY like how you had George. Though still mourning, and it seems not QUITE having the fact that Fred's dead completely hit home, still determined, letting Harry know it wasn't his fault, and singing Fred's praises and rejoicing in the fact that Percy was back.
I like the idea of the Order of Merlin for all of the fighters, I think it's very suitable and well earned :)
There are a couple of little nitpicks, but just spelling and grammar errors, such as 'Ron gaped at her, both shocked at gleeful.' I would guess it should be 'shocked AND gleeful.'
Donny! So great, very cute.
I think you did a great job characterising the trio, which is good, because they can be tough. nice job!

Author's Response: Thanks for your review. I first wrote this days after I read Deathly Hallows - I guess you could say it was a bit of a cathartic experience for me. So in that sense, I'm glad it was relieving for you too. And thanks for pointing out that spelling/grammar error - I'll fix it up as soon as I can!

I like this extra, final chapter of Deathly Hallows...I had never thought of Harry returning to Privet Drive to ask Aunt Petunia about Lily, but it worked well in this story.

Author's Response: Thanks :) I'm glad you enjoyed it.
