Well, I'm glad it was Theodore Nott, Sr. who was killed. That is one crazy ghost in the Louvre. I hope you explain why he only shows himself to Muggle women. He must fancy himself a ladies' man and think he's most impressive to Muggle women.

I know that was hard for both Draco and Hermione but I'm glad it happened. I liked that it seemed equally difficult for Draco to go public with the relationship. I guess I didn't think of that either. And, Yay, for Draco kissing Hermione in front of everybody.

That sounds wonderful--a morning spent in a greenhouse. I can't think of anything more relaxing. I think the salve Draco got is probably just a band-aid.I hope Hermione figures out what's really causing the pain. It seems Draco has a change of attitude toward Hermione when his Dark Mark starts hurting.

I guess there's not much for Hermione to say since she's the one who doesn't want the relationship to go public. At the same time Draco could encourage someone else without really meaning to. Although the fact that someone's in a relationship won't stop others from flirting with them anyway. Do I sense trouble between Ron and Lav?

It's a bit disconcerting to know that someone was hidden and spying on you even if it is your boyfriend. I was afraid Draco and Hermione were going to get into a big fight. That they didn't shows what a sense of humor can do--it can make the bad things seem funny and good.

Your story is freaking amazing. I love that Harry's talking about speaking to snakes like its normal; but I do have one point to raise--I'm not so sure that Harry would be able to speak parsletongue after the horcrux inside him was destroyed--that bit of Voldemort had all his powers which of course included that skill and Harry put it to good use-but post-war I'm not sure if he'd be able to do it anymore.
Just a thought.

Chapter: Chapter 13: Holyhead Harpies versus Quiberon Quafflepunchers
I don't know if I could study as much as Hermione does. I was a good student but didn't go that overboard as to study when I had another event going on. My favorite parts of this chapter were when an old witch was flying around Muggle areas and frightening people:D and when Harry had interviewed a snake. I wonder if the old witch incident is related to the Muggle death by dark magic.

It sounds like Hermione had a wonderful birthday. The food sounded yummy. I liked Draco's finale. I'll bet that Draco gets invitations to social clubs because he's a pure-blood and Hermione won't get any. Too bad if WUP won't let her parents visit. Some places are so elitist.

Chapter: Chapter 11: Classes Begin
The French are sounding a little ethnocentric by providing little in the way of other cultures or the magic associated with those cultures. After taking classes with Binns, Hermione should be an expert on the Goblin Wars. She and Draco seem to be developing their own friends. Hopefully they'll still be able to spend adequate time together.

Smugglers, prejudice and romance aplenty, oh my!
I have to say, I was a faithful reader of the first installment and I even started reading this sequel but then real life got in the middle... However, it afforded me the possibility of reading it all again and the completed version! And as in the first one, you had me entranced! I love the depth of the background information you use! You must research a lot! : D
I think I've said this before but I love the way you portray Ginny. I think that in the books she sometimes comes across as too forceful and almost "stalkerish" (pardon me my French)...
Well, I'm just happy to be able to read writings of such quality. I think it's becoming rarer and rarer in the Fanfiction world.

It's too bad Hermione won't just let her relationship with Draco go public. I guess the Malfoy name might be just too familiar even in France. But if Draco isn't afraid for people to know, Hermione shouldn't worry about it too much. I can see she'll be fighting the girls off for Draco's attention.

I think it's always hard to attend mixers when you're first starting school. Draco and Hermione may have an especially difficult time since they have each other and have an excuse not to meet anyone new. I also sensed a bit of 'darkness' in the things they saw in Paris. Although, they don't have Voldemort hanging around so it doesn't seem that dark.

I would love to visit Paris. Maybe some day. Sometimes I think Hermione's mum doesn't understand. I liked her comment that she didn't understand why Hermione 'needed' two places to live. And, her comment that she wished Hermione had more girlfriends. I guess all of her good friends have been males. I'm jealous of Hermione, going to university in Paris.

When in doubt, I always say you should stick to the books. A lot of authors have had fun at Lavender's expense though. In the movie it looked like she had died but I don't remember anything like that in the book. Ron just can't stop acting stupid can he?

I'm sure there are a lot of correlations between wizarding courses and Muggle courses. Again, I wonder when Hermione will be ready for their relationship to go public. And, I wonder what Hermione's mother really thinks about Draco. I wonder if I would find him "good enough" if he were dating my daughter:D
