Chapter: ALBUS DUMBLEDORE AND THE HEADMASTER’S PORTRAIT

This story was so sweet! I got goosebumps when Harry put his hands on Albus' shoulders and said, "This is Albus Severus Potter." Just...a really touching moment. I do think that Harry would have wanted Snape to meet his son and know that he was named after him.

Chapter: ALBUS DUMBLEDORE AND THE HEADMASTER’S PORTRAIT

Good story. I especially liked how Albus was able to stand up for himself under Snape's scrutiny - with secure confidence in his abilities, not by being brash. And that Snape is a hero to all the SLOTH group- which he takes in such typical stride.

That was great!! Really bloody brilliant! Um, I am writing my first story, and I was wondering if I could use the idea of the Potter's seeing professor snape's portrait. Is that okay?

Author's Response: Of course you can! I look forward to reading your tale when you have completed it. Please let me know when you do and good luck - it's really a lot of fun.

Chapter: ALBUS DUMBLEDORE AND THE HEADMASTER’S PORTRAIT

That was amazing! Perfectly in character, as well. This moved me almost to tears, and I think it perfectly fitting that Albus show an aptitude for Potions. And I was so touched to see the interaction between Albus and his namesake.. Simply beautiful.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. I tried as had as I could to stay true to the characters, and if I moved you then maybe I did something right. Thanks again.

Chapter: ALBUS DUMBLEDORE AND THE HEADMASTER’S PORTRAIT

This was very well-written, and I enjoyed the dialogue between Albus and Snape, but I never understood why Harry took Albus to Hogwarts. Surely their long journey was for more than just a short, pointless chat between a portrait of Snape and Harry's son? What was the reason?

Author's Response: That you for your compliment on the writing. As for the reason, I thought Harry introducing his son to Professor Snape was reason enough. Harry brings his son to meet his namesake, a man who put himself in danger for years to protect a boy in honor of his mother's memory. The only thing I feel I need to explain is why Harry too so long.

Chapter: ALBUS DUMBLEDORE AND THE HEADMASTER’S PORTRAIT

Very interesting conversations! You can really picture Snape saying those things :-) It would be really cool to read if you decided to write more of this story...

Author's Response: I think this is more of a stand alone piece, unless of course I can think of some reason Albus would need to ask Snape a question that only he could answer. Maybe some mystery that Snape's time at Hogwarts could help answer. But thank you for your comments.

Chapter: ALBUS DUMBLEDORE AND THE HEADMASTER’S PORTRAIT

Very cute! I was wondering the entire time though - where was James??

Author's Response: Hi Lucygirl! I kept James away on purpose because he is too much like his grandfather and we all know how Snape felt about James I!!! But thank you for reading it and commenting.

Chapter: ALBUS DUMBLEDORE AND THE HEADMASTER’S PORTRAIT

Thank you for the sweet story. I love that the one headmaster Harry wanted to see was Snape. And I love Snape's response. I think it was perfectly in character. Well done.

Author's Response: That you, TW. I tried to stay as true as i could to JK Rowling's imagination. It's the only way to honor her amazing world. I only hope I did alright.
