Thanks for explaining who all of the Toms are:D Now it makes sense. I'm waiting for Merope's entrance into the story and how Cecilia is convinced she should marry Gerald. It's interesting how some people get together and how fate often dictates who gets married. I married someone I didn't even know until I went to college. If I hadn't gone to school there, I never would've met him. Great chapter.
Author's Response: Cecilia feels that her parents will expect her to marry Gerald as their mums (moms to me, the Californian) are close and would have speculated a union like that. But she doesn't want to marry him and struggles with the idea of marrying without love. (Can we say that's where our hero of the story comes in?) I'm excited to bring Merope in . . . I feel like Jo gave away so little about Merope that for fanfic writers, there's a ton to work with character-building-wise. And that's cool - it's the same with my parents, they met in college :D Fate does work well that way :D

I kept confusing Tom Riddle, Sr. with Tom Riddle, Jr.--but that was my problem:D I'm assuming this couple will become Voldemort's parents. I'm also thinking that Cecilia is using some sort of glamour charm to attract Tom. I'll keep reading to find out. Then you brought up the invisibility cloak, so maybe they aren't going to be Voldemort's parents. So many unanswered questions. i can't wait to see what happens. This promises to be a very intriguing story. Great chapter. I almost forgot--now you owe me a few reviews for my stories:D I'm kind of kidding. But, I do hope you look up my work.
Author's Response: Voldemort is actually Tom Riddle the Third in this story :D And Tom Riddle, Cecilia's interest, will be his father, but of course Merope steals him from Cecilia, and Cecilia then loses him. Cecilia is not using a glamour charm:D The invisibility cloak will someday become Harrys - who might Cecila REALLY be? And I will look up your stuff now!
Interesting. But I just hope you aren't going to make her Voldie's mum, because Merope really was his mum. :P
Author's Response: Merope will steal Tom Riddle from Cecilia, and Cecilia will be forced into marriage with Gerald Potter, thus becoming Harry's grandmother.
