Ohhh, what a beautiful one-shot! I grew up Catholic, so mixing in the Sign of Peace and Matthew's Gospel was particularly endearing to me.
You have a lovely way of constructing your sentences; your words paint vivid pictures.

Author's Response: Thank you, I really appreciate that! I did too and I remember sitting in church one Sunday listening to all of the readings and thinking they could inspire a lot of forgiveness, and then after I left I transferred all of that into this topic! I'm working on a chaptered fic as well but have yet to get it accepted...I'm workin' on it.

I like this a lot. It stands alone nicely, but I'd like to see more. I want to see what happens from there. Thank you for making my transition to this site for fan fiction a pleasant one.
