Chapter: Chapter 1- Her Name Was Lily Evans

Nice story. I like how you expounded on some events presented in "The Prince's Tale" and captured both Lily's and Snape's perceptions. I also like that you included Snape's, shall we say dysfunctional, father/home because I think it is so important to how he turned out and perhaps why he disliked "Muggles" so much. Also this story really drives home the point that Severus was the person who introduced Lily to magic/the magical world, so obviously he had a real impact on her life. Plus, if your timeline is correct, they had two years of friendship and bonding going into Hogwarts. It is so sad how things turned out between them! :( But I guess it was all for the best so Voldemort could be defeated.

I really like this story. It's short, but sweet and it has that childlike innocence that everyone fondly remembers as they get older. You wrote 9 year old Snape very well. Shy, abused, curious, and, even at that age, in love.

Chapter: Chapter 1- Her Name Was Lily Evans

Am... well this is kind of the first time I ever do this but... I loved your story so I thought why not to log in and tell her I liked it? If I ever published one I would like that so... Anyway I see anyone has reviewed yet something I don't really get because your story is great! I mean I love the subject 'course. Almost let out a tear when I read the introduction and I recall the moment when Snape said that... But well what I like about your story is that I think you're being really thruthful to the book. Like.. you know I think nine-year-old Snape would've been like that. Like quite dark but still with kind of a bright side, specially when we talk about Lily... And I like Lily's behaviour too, and the thing about Petunia and her being kind of 'good sisters' before Lily becomes a witch though it's obvious that Petunia is not the best person ever. That's great too. I mean someone can't go to bed being a nice sister and wake up being a terrible one. And I like how Lily goes to find out about magic. It's like so inocent. Like when you're nine you can believe anything... And everything in the beginnig about Lily Evans and not Lily Potter.. that was amazing! Anyway I'm not even sure if you'll even read this as you posted it like loads ago and if you do I'm going to bore you with such long review so I stop now. Not everybody can stay truthful to the books That's why I loved the fic. Wish you write more!
(BTW sorry for the English! Still learning!)
