Chapter: Chapter 1

What a beautiful tribute to the protector, Remus, though we know that Tonks came to the battle and died anyway. He was trying to protect his family! The fact he had a family makes me so happy, and hopeful for my future. I may not see a battle like this one, but I hope I can be like Remus and protect my family from other dangers in the world...

Author's Response: That is a nice thought. I hope the same for myself too! :) Thanks for reading and reviewing. (BTW, have you signed up at the Beta Forums?)

This poem fits Remus and Tonks so beautifully, and I didn't notice - at all - the words we had to add. That is truly a remarkable feat because Lumos was a bugger in this challenge.

I'm struggling to find my favourite part of the poem because it is all so good and sweet and relevant to the Potterverse.

Very touching and so very Remus.

Author's Response: This was such a sad poem to write because we all know how that night ended for them. :( And Lumos was a PITA, I agree. Thanks for the reviewwww <33 (I have lost count of the response number.)

Natalie, I almost never review poetry because I just do not know enough to have any credibility at all. But I do know something beautiful when I read it, and I do know when something moves me.

I really loved this. Just haunting and gorgeous and so, so sad. Nice writing.

Author's Response: Loriiii! It was such a pleasant surprise to get a review from you for a poem. :D Thanks for the lovely compliments!

Beautifully depressing. Good copy of Cummings' style. Very realistic. Love the line "your many faces yet one face."

Author's Response: Thanks! :) I'm happy to hear you found it a good copy of Cummings' style. He's an intriguing poet.
