I must say I really really like this. No kidding. It is very insightful on Lily's feelings after she broke off the friendship with one of her best friends. And yes, of course it is that hurtful and it effects her in a major way. Up until now I haven't read anything like this. I guess most James/Lily shipd concentrate solely on them, but I do think that her relationship with Snape is of utter importance and it effected her deeply which the books do not really show. Thus I really like your view on things! The fact that you don't disregard that there might be other things going on in Lily Evans life except the annoying James Potter gives the story more depth.
Keep going! I'm looking forward to the next chapters! I am very excited what sort of changes Lily is going to go through!
