Hey, I've just read this, apparently...It's...cute. Haha, it's like I'm seeing the whole story 'High' in front of my eyes again with just a hundred words! :D
Don't get me wrong but I'm kind of getting fixated to your story and this one caught my attention because of it :). And I don't usually read and/or write sonnets or any other poetry, although I had surprised my friends a couple of weeks ago when I've done a great sonnet for my English project.
Anyway, I'm off to peruse some of your stories, trying to find another that might occupy me as much as 'High' did. *nods
Author's Response: Yay- thank you! Um, you might like Lavender, blue a Gryffindor true. That has a similar feel to it to High and explains more about Lavender and Blaise. Thank you so much for seeking out my stories :) <3 ~Carole~
Funny! Poor smitten fellow. It's like Harry's match with Cho Chang.
Author's Response: Thank you. The real story is in High, my next gen fic.
Ha! I can see a connection to 'High'! I enjoy the part when Scorpius 'fumbles the catch'! Go Lily!
Author's Response: Thank you. Yeah, I didn't write him falling off, but he was darn close. ~Carole~
"What happens when Scorpius Malfoy takes on Lily Potter in the air? "
He asks her if her cousin Hugo is single.
Now that that's been sorted out, let me talk about the poem. It's so much fun! I like how each quatrain focuses on a character, and let us know what each player is doing. For a fun, fast-paced fic like High, I feel that this poem has the right tone and mood.
Nicely done, Croll! I enjoyed reading it a lot.
Author's Response: He asks her if her cousin Hugo is single. ... because he happens to know that Heloise is looking for a date ... heh heh heh. Thank you for the review and glad you were able to relate it to High. I enjoyed writing this very much. ~Carole~
Good poetry. Captures a lot in a few words.
Author's Response: Thank you. I enjoyed writing it. ~Carole~
