I've always wanted to see Hagrid's account of arriving at Godric's Hollow tat night. I think you did this very well. Good job!

Author's Response: I absolutely agree. I think Hagrid might be my favorite character, and I never got quite enough of him in the books. Naturally, I had to write this to fill the void. hahaha Thank you so much for reviewing and I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

This was a very good story. You captured the grief and tragedy of the moment very well.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm not one who often reads (or writes for that matter) much tragedy, but that is something about the HP books that makes them so successful: they evoke real emotion in people. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

yaaaaay! finally! every time i had read the sorcerer's stone, i found myself wishing that jkr had written what had really happened that nigh in godric's hollow. this is so sad, but really well written! love the ten years later part, btw:)

Author's Response: ME TOO. That and the missing day between Harry's arrival and his parents' deaths made me write this. I did my research and tried to fill the gap. Thanks SO MUCH for reviewing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. That ten years later part was my favorite part to write:)

Aw, very nice. The only thing I had qualms about was the side car -- the bike didn't have one until Arthur put it on for Harry before DH. Hagrid carried Harry in his arms.

Besides that, it was beautiful, in a sad sort of way. It was really touching to think of Hagrid holding and crying over James, and the fact that he would one day hold and cry over his son, when Harry appeared to be dead as well. Really haunting, that bit was.

Good job!

Author's Response: AAAHHHH! It's both mortifying and gratifying for a reviewer to catch me on canon slips. I'm all about canon accuracy, so thank you. I researched sooo hard to really understand Hagrid's character, and I didn't even think about the motorcycle! Took it for granted I did:) Thanks so much for reviewing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it

Vey very good! I have goose bumps! Love it! Very well done!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm so glad you liked it. I worked very hard to make it as canon as possible!

I'm not ashamed to say I was tearing up during this (unusual for me!). I simply loved it :) !!

Author's Response: You have no idea how good that makes me feel:) I really wanted to make the emotions feel genuine, and I'm glad I was able to do it for someone!
