i as well am confused, but i do love how you started it with action. i'm assuming you'll explain the whole situation in the next chapter. i am curious to what happens next. why did james unconsiousize lily evans...?

Author's Response: Yeah I've mostly got the unconsciousness thing planned out. It's going to be a sort of subplot for the next few chapters, although the proper plot is, of course, Lily/James stuff. The next chapter should be a bit more clear.
