That was wonderful. That Luna is so crazy! Crazy great! I was wondering why Ginny didn't use Accio to retrieve her broom and wand? Luna turned out to be a good friend. I don't remember, did Luna marry Rolf or his father?
Author's Response: Thanks. Ginny was injured an in pain. Luna married Rolf. In most stories I've read, Rolf is a lot older than Luna. I decided to go the other way. -N-
Yetis, Scamanders, Luna, Tibet, wow!!!! That is an amazing mix of wonderful things! Job well done!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, glad you liked it. -N-
I luv Luna (and Rolf)!!! Nice story.
Author's Response: Thank you. -N-
Great story again. I love how you bring in all the canon themes in. So this is how Luna and Rolf Scamander meet! Ah, this is just wonderful! Going to the next in the series :D
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. This is how Luna meets Rolf in my stories. It's about time he made a reappearance, too. -N-
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love Luna! She's an awesome character. What a perfect reason for Ginny and Harry selecting Luna for Lily's middle name! And, we get the meet the man who marries this free spirit.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I’ve probably said this in other replies, but Harry and Ginny name their kids after “five dead heroes, and Luna” there had to be a reason why, and this is what I came up with. -N-
Author's Response: Thanks, -N-
thats understandable. she may be the simplest character, but in a way, she's the most complex.
Author's Response: Thanks -N-
i loved it! i love luna so much, and its so hard to portray her, but you did it perfectly!
Author's Response: Thanks, I love Luna too, though writing Luna takes me longer than writing anyone else. -N-
for some reason i really wanted to see Harry's reaction to everything, but i really like your take on how Luna and Rolf met! and a request...please update Aurors and School Girls!!! thanks for another great one-shot though! i really enjoyed it,
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I considered sending Ginny home, but it seemed fitting to finish with the Rolf/Luna thing. I'm busy doing a complete rewrite of the next chapter of A&S. It should be with a beta soon. -N-
I love so much about this fic.
I love the plot of it - Ginny being forced to go to Tibet since it's part of her contract, Harry deciding not to go since he has office reorganization, Ginny deciding to take Luna, Luna and the older Scamander rescuing Ginny, and Rolf's cameo at the end. It was all very well written, and well characterized. I especially loved Ginny's thought process about how no one (but Harry) must ever be allowed to know that she fell off her broom. Utterly brilliant, utterly Ginny.
I loved the title - ECCENTRIC, indeed.
I particularly loved Rolf's cameo and how he is a Harpies fan and a cryptozoologist.
All in all, absolutely great read.
Thanks for the review.
This story (and “It Takes Two”) are the result of my thinking about the names of Harry and Ginny’s children. The original intention of this was simply to explain why the kids are “five dead heroes and Luna”. Then, when Luna arrived, still single and without a boyfriend although Ginny is married and pregnant, well, I had to sneak Rolf in, didn’t I? ;-)
Cute story! I loved how you portrayed Luna's personality, especially when she rescued Ginny! I loved the added detail about Ginny naming the baby after Luna. That was perfect!
Author's Response: Thanks. As this is Ginny’s first pregnancy the “If it’s a girl” is wrong (this time), but Ginny keeps her promises. -N-
wonderful as always, I always enjoy your stories and I love how you connect all the canon relationships :) can't wait to read more of ur stories!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I enjoy try to figure out the why behind canon facts (and I’ve already submitted more stuff). -N-
Hehehe!! Young Rolfy, uh? I bet he's boyfriend material!! Great story!!
Author's Response: Possibly, I have plans (I have a lot of plans, that’s the problem). -N-
And to think thats how Luna meet her futuer husband. Such a sweet story. Luna is so amazing. Another great story.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. JKR said that Luna married “later in life” than the others. This is as good a reason as any for that -N-
E.C.C.E.N.T.R.I.C. *laughs uncontrollably* I LOVE it! I love that you included Luna, most people just forget about her.
Okay I am feeling thicker than a concussed troll right now. I have been trying to figure out what RPI stands for (it's from Stangers at Drakeshaugh). If it's British term, I'm lost. If it's not, my encyclopedic brain has failed me. Could you please elaborate? I can just hear the dumb blonde jokes coming now...
As always, thank you for updating in a timely manner and updating regularly!
Thanks for the review. I went through an acronym phase a couple of months back and with a title like that I had to include Luna.
I’ll give you more hints. The t-shirt was green (that’s not only a Slytherin colour). It has something to do with Ginny. Jacqui could not see the whole word. The word you want is ??RPI?? ;-)-N-
I loved this! Everything ties in and it was an on the edge if your seat read! Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. There is a lot of stuff in this story, from Ginny’s pregnancy cravings to the beginnings of her writing career plus the first appearance of “my” Rolf. -N-
Not for sure what I was expecting as I have been anticipating this title for a while. Wonderful story with true character traits of Ginny and Luna. I was surprised that Rolf was that much younger than Luna and Ginny.
Wonderful as always, please keep your wonderful tales coming.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I was surprised too. It is stretching things, as Newt Scamander was born in 1897, but it’s possible (just). Luna simply IS! I can’t control her. -N-
