Chapter: Fight on, my friends, fight on!

Minna, seriously, this is amazing. It is no wonder that this one won. I like it all so much, I can't narrow it down to a single favorite line. I love the second lines of the first and second stanzas. I love the idea of a victory song rising with the dawn, that is just beautiful. And lastly, I love the entire last stanza. It sums up the rest of the poem beautifully. Wonderful, wonderful job!

Author's Response: Thank you, Bookworm. I'm blushing. No, seriously, I want that purple blushy emoticon from the old boards right now. I like the bit with the victory song too, if I'm being honest - but then I think I'll always like bits about songs. And I'm glad you like the last stanza. I was a little uncertain about it but...why can't wizards have God too? Thank you, thank you for your lovely review. =)

Inspiring poem! :) My favorite verse would have to be the one about the dementors. Also, great job on the rhyming! The repetition also lends the verses a nice flow. ~Olivia

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like the one about the dementors - that one gave me some trouble. Rhyming is a pain, but generally worth it, and I am in love with repetition as a poetic device, so I'm glad you liked them.

Wonderful. I feel like there should be a song written with these as lyrics!

Author's Response: Well I'm crap at music composing but if you can find a musician or even a mildy talented three-year-old, I'm game...But all jokes aside, thank you for the sweet review.

Oh, that's lovely! The title is gorgeous, and the poem itself is beautiful. Great job with the rhymes, and the repeating lines were perfect. Congrats on the win!! ~Gina :)

Author's Response: Thankee kindly, Gina. I'm glad you liked how it came together. =)

This was really awesome. I'm not surprised it won first place. It (kind of lamely) inspired me. To do something heroic.

What that's gonna be, I don't know yet.

Author's Response: Right on, sister/brother. =)

Actually it's kind of fantastic to hear I inspire that kind of urge in someone - although please don't get hurt. Or arrested. Because then I'd have that on my conscience. ;)
